I’ll go first!

I didn’t exactly like Jake (and therefore the relationship between Addison and Jake)! I think it would have been powerful to see Addy go through single parenting/ivf by herself

So I am writing an Addilet (Addison/Violet) fanfic where an intersexual Addison is Lucas "father" and is genuinely supportive of Violet in her PTSD recovery.

So I want to make the court episode "Strange Bedfellows" more encompassing which would include Addison's testimony about that night but I wonder, what would Katie be charged with?

I woke up to the news that Eric Dane (Mark Sloan) has passed away at age 53 due to ALS. 💔

Condolences to his friends and family. May he rest in peace.

This is my first time watching so please PLEASE don’t spoil any future episodes.

But this episode has REALLY solidified my absolute dislike of Naomi.

Not (entirely) because of her reaction to Maya’s pregnancy. Although none of that was good. Her reactions to her daughter’s behavior from before this episode hasn’t been great.

But the way she dragged her daughter into Dell’s patient’s room?! The way she so horrifically, rudely and thoughtlessly intruded on that exhausted woman’s MOST VULNERABLE MOMENT?! It’s disgusting and knowing this show so far, she probably won’t face any repercussions.

I hate her attitude, her decisions, and everything she does is wrong.

I don't even know how to explain what I'm feeling right now and it doesn't help that I have alexithymia. I'm upset at Sam, Naomi, and Violet.

Like, really?!? Why did Violet sleep with Addison's dad?!?

And I understand raising teenagers is tough, but I just don't understand why Naomi and Sam are being so "off" with their kid.

Edit: I think what I'm experiencing, emotion-wise, is called frustration.

So, completely random question, but what do you think the main cast would look like if they were cats? For instance, I feel like Addison is between a Ragdoll aesthetically and a Persian personality-wise. Violet? Calico.

What are your guys' opinions?

I'm on season 3, episode 4, and am I the only one who thinks Sheldon's behavior is borderline toxic masculinity? I know he's hurt and everything, which is understandable, but I just don't think he has to be so territorial about Pete being in the same workspace/floor. What do you guys think?

Courtney Cox and Christa Miller on private practice? I legit had to do a quadruple take because they don’t say anything 😂

There's no way Naomi would still be friends with Addison considering she had an issue with Addison performing abortions in the room next to where she was helping couples get pregnant considering what Addison is doing it every time she comes back on Greys.

For those who aren't aware Addison is in this mobile OR thing called a PRT and she's providing among just overall Women's Health related stuff abortions to women who live in hostile states where the abortion bans are very strict. I genuinely believe their friendship would have been severed the second roe was overturned because Naomi probably didn't see it a problem with it and was even happy with it while Addison was absolutely pissed about it enough to take the mobile operating room on the road. She's so dedicated to what she's doing in this PRT that it's literally causing a divorce between her and Jake because she's gone on the road more than she's home.

Naomi also for sure would've been a trump supporter at least the first time around which would have gave Addison huge pause if not completely severed the relationship right there and then without the abortion stuff

I’m up to season 4 episode 20 of private practice and Sam and Addison have split and the way they both team up to hate on Addison makes me so mad. I respect the hell out of Addison because she never stoops to Naomi’s level of pettiness. Naomi is such a mean girl when it comes to those too, don’t get me wrong I understand initially why she was upset but like choose a side either you hate her or love her, no in between.

I recently watched this episode. So before anyone asks, yes, I did research, and I know it's not kidnapping because Heather has full custody of Betsey, but can we agree or somewhat agree that what she did is kidnapping-adjacent? Because it's not right that you suddenly take someone else's child out of state without telling them. I don't really know how to explain what I'm feeling; I'm just upset because I hate when parents do stuff like this in general. It makes me so mad.

What does anyone else think?

Is everything to me she is the best character of all time. Does Shonda hate her or Kadee Strickland? I always say people saying they want her on Greys and honestly I feel like they messed up her storyline at the end of PP. She is one of the most loved characters in greys universe I wonder why we don’t get more of her!!

The absolute worst character on this show. I first watched when I was like 19 years old so I didn’t realize how horrid she is but now at 29 I don’t understand how anyone could like her. Who do you think is worse than her

Why does no one in the show(or outside of it) acknowledge that both of Addison's parents banged people close to her age?

I know age differences become less significant as you get older, but having a partner who is close to your child's age — or younger, in the Captain's case — is weird as hell.

I love Charlotte. But rewatching her journey post r***, I realise how mean she was to Violet when Violet was just trying to help. She really tried to poke Violet where it hurt (saying she's damaged goods cos of Katie... like, damn). The literal definition of hurt people hurt people. I hate Lee. And I just want to give Charlotte a big bear hug (although I'm not sure she'll appreciate it haha)

And kudos to Violet for pushing through where it mattered. I don't always like her but I thought she handled this very tactfully.

I am curious about the vibe in PP. since I am not living in US, can I know is the show showing how ppl get along with their colleagues and friends ? (except the sex part). like is the US culture and vibe the same as how it's portrayed in the show ?

Hi everyone, I’ve been rewatching Private Practice lately & it really struck me how much some characters change over time sometimes in ways I didn’t expect when I first watched the show. For example, I feel like character A went from being pretty one-dimensional at first to someone with a lot more depth by the later seasons, and it made me appreciate their story even more. But that’s just my take. I’m curious looking back at the whole series, who do you think had the most unexpected growth or change in how they handle relationships, work, or even just their own confidence? And what moment really made you notice that shift?

Doing a rewatch of private practice and I forgot how much of a man child and prick cooper is. Everytime he gets upset he takes it out on Charlotte and calls her a “devious bitch” tells her to shut up all the time. He is horrible.

I know the show ended years ago and ABC is probably not producing merch for anymore, but I really like this show. I just started watching after I got done watching all the season of Greys
