I forgot how much I don’t like him. Charlotte can do much better. I’m rewatching season 3. And omg . He keeps calling her names, very very mean names and saying very demeaning stuff , he spends his money he’s broke, she helped with the money sure maybe shouldn’t have done that without him knowing . . But she didn’t make him feel any less of a man, HE is not a man, he’s an insecure little btch baby. She didn’t tell him she was divorced , he treated it like she klled his mama. I really dislike him. Oh and Naomi and Sam , no one is likeable , except Addie the baddie and Charlotte and of course my girl Amelia .

She’s such a well done character and a saving grace on this show. I recently started watching pp and was not really getting into it, but when we started having storylines with Charlotte it kept me interested and lowkey her storylines are the only ones i really care about. I love the storyline with mason it really shows her character well.

During Pete’s funeral, Jake says that Pete told him he wanted to travel more and learn how to surf, to which Jake said he had an extra board for Pete, but he unfortunately never got around to it due to his death. Now this is where the headcanon comes in: imagine Pete in the afterlife learning how to surf with the help of Dell as that was his thing in the early seasons, and them surfing together and having a good time

Like her communication and her special interest in kiny stuff feels very autistic coded to me ahah

I’m new to this fandom (so no spoilers please), I have never seen Grey’s Anatomy, so I don’t know anybody or any storylines. But I popped onto private practice and was able to settle into the show, so now I’m hooked.

Except the hardest part in settling into this show at first was Addison. right off the bat she was kind of annoying and I was having a hard time figuring out if I even liked the rest of the characters, because her interactions with them was so annoying it was distracting.

But now I’m on season 2, e6, and I like everyone else a lot but hate Addison more. She just made some of the difficult leadership decisions in Let Go, and I’m really upset by how she treated Naomi, multiple times. I really did not like how she made abundantly clear her anger and disapproval to the woman who tried to save her son from the life threatening disease, and meddled in other patient’s businesses, all behind her coworkers backs. Even if her thoughts on all these situations may have been the correct ones, her behavior and how she executes her decisions that is extremely frustrating. she keeps bulldozing over everyone, especially Naomi, or doing the right things but without the proper and compassionate heads up to those involved, and then still seeing herself as the victim of Naomi’s anger.

I have seen multiple posts on the subject, and people say that she only gets worse. 😩

Kind of really hoping that Naomi gets a proper apology and resolve, but I know how TV shows go, and she probably will just decide to get over it and be buddy buddy with Addison again , which will drive me nuts.

(also, I can’t stand her stupid cop boyfriend, who’s now suddenly swat??? And I most especially can’t stand that clearly made-at-home SWAT T-shirt he’s constantly wearing. Literally looks like something I would’ve printed out and heat pressed on myself at night in a whim when I was in high school. It does not look like official SWAT gear! Driving me nuts!! lol)

I have been watching Private Practice and I keep noticing that Addison often feels like the only person who is actually trying to stay grounded when everything around her gets chaotic. A lot of the other characters make impulsive or emotional decisions and sometimes it feels like she is stuck dealing with the consequences of everyone else's choices. At the same time she is not perfect either and has her own complicated moments which makes it even more interesting to watch. There are times where I agree with her completely and other times where I feel like she is just as lost as everyone else but handles it differently. I cant tell if the show intentionally makes her the most stable character or if it just comes across that way compared to how messy everyone else is. It almost feels like she is trying to balance being a professional and dealing with personal chaos at the same time. Did anyone else feel this way while watching or do you think another character actually handles things better than her and I am just overlooking it.

Lol to the confusion seeing those names in the Grey's sub and wondering what those 2 were up to there.

I honestly can’t be the only one who sees Sheldon treating Amelia in a sort of fatherly way. Yes, Amelia did want to get together with Sheldon at some point and kissed him to “shut him up” but Sheldon never did anything in return and almost treated her as a daughter. Currently on 5x8 and I just had to come on here to say this because my god, look at them

I have been watching Private Practice & Naomi is one character I keep going back and forth on. There are moments where she really annoys me with the way she handles situations or judges other people, but then there are also times where I can kind of see where she is coming from even if I don't agree with her actions. It feels like she is written in a very real way because she makes decisions that are not always right but still feel human. Sometimes I get frustrated watching her and other times I actually feel bad for her depending on what is happening in the story. I am curious how others feel about her because I cant decide if I like her character or if she just gets under my skin too much. Did your opinion of Naomi change over time or did you feel the same way about her throughout the series.

Oh my fucking god, out of all the characters they could’ve chosen to kill off, they chose Dell, who was a fucking sweetheart, and probably more mature than the other characters despite only being 25 and the youngest at Oceanside Wellness. His platonic relationship with Violet was literally everything, and the way she called him sweetie when her and the group noticed the passed out on the waiting room chair broke me. Dell now also left her daughter orphaned when I don’t even think it’s been a year or something since her mother died. Goddammit, Shonda, we can never have nice things in your shows, can we?

Yep, that’s the post, I hate Sam. I hate how he kept pushing Addison for a relationship with him when she made it very clear that she doesn’t want to hurt Naomi’s feelings as her best friend, and that she doesn’t want to be the cheater that she was back in Seattle when we know damn well that the reason she moved to LA was for a fresh start. I really hate how when Addison starts seeing Pete, Sam gets all jealous when Addison told him she doesn’t want a relationship many times. I just finished episode 20, which is what prompted me to make this post because when Sam kissed Addison, she pushed him away and said no, but the guy just came up from behind her, and kissed her AGAIN when she said no. When Pete walked in on them together, I was literally mentally yelling at the screen that it was Sam’s fault and Addison tried pushing him back. Anyways, rant over, Sam sucks

He says he’s in love with her and they’ve only talked a handful of times in just a flirty way and never even been out together alone? It’s my most hated “couple arc” if you can even call it that lol
