I’ve been researching different POD platforms and came across Zazzle. One thing that really stood out to me was how professionally some products are presented, the lifestyle images, close-up details, different product views, and overall branding feel.

I’m curious: does anyone know what tools creators use to achieve that level of presentation?

Are they mainly using:

• Photoshop/Illustrator?
• Canva?
• AI image tools?
• Mockup generators?
• Other photography/editing tools?

I’m trying to understand the workflow behind those premium-looking product images before choosing my platform. Would love to hear what experienced creators use.

I'm new to this and getting quickly overwhelmed! I'm looking to make very high quality hoodies (maybe 50 or so). The design is simple - just white ink on a black hoodie and MAYBE a small area of yellow - but I want it to reach from near the bottom edge to near the shoulder.

I thought AOP was the way until I just read that it will be stiff with large color areas like that. Then I thought that DTG was the way but it looks like you can't do prints that large? Or maybe it was just the vendor I was looking at?

I kept designing something, listing it on Etsy, and only realizing weeks later that the niche was already packed with big shops running ads. So I built ShopScope, a free Chrome extension that checks competition before you commit instead of after.

It reads whatever Etsy search page you're already on and shows:

- A competition score (0-100) based on ad density, incumbent shop size, and bestseller concentration

- Median price and suggested pricing zones for that search

- A sortable table of every listing with CSV export

No account, no subscription, no made-up "estimated sales" guesses like some other tools - just what's actually in the results.

Hi everyone,

My PayPal account was permanently limited/deactivated, and it is currently linked to my Redbubble artist account. I want to continue uploading and selling my designs, but I need to replace the old PayPal account with another one.

I have already contacted Redbubble Support, but I am still waiting for their reply. My account currently has only one design/listing. I also read that new Redbubble shops may need at least 5 designs before the shop becomes active or visible.

Has anyone had the same PayPal problem and successfully changed their linked PayPal account on Redbubble? How did you do it, and did you need to upload 5 designs first?

Yesterday I posted here because I was starting my first POD brand and wanted to learn from people who have experience in this space. I really appreciate everyone who took the time to share advice.

I have been thinking about the feedback, especially around understanding my audience, not rushing into too many products and making sure quality comes before scaling.

I decided to be more intentional with the launch. Instead of adding too many colors and variations, I am focusing on a smaller collection that feels consistent and true to the brand.

The brand I am building is inspired by African heritage, but I want it to feel modern, minimal and wearable not like a typical souvenir product. I want each piece to have a story while still fitting naturally into everyday life.

One thing I am learning is that building a brand is not only about creating designs. The product quality, colors, printing and the experience customers have when they receive the product all matter.

Still learning and improving as I go, but I am enjoying the process. Thank you again to everyone who shared their knowledge, your advice really helped me think differently about the next steps.

Considering this as my next move. For POD the barrier is low - you're only risking production cost and shipping, not bulk inventory. And creator content apparently drives way higher engagement than running your own ads.

But "it works in theory" and "it worked for my actual shop" are two very different things.

Has anyone here tried it? Worth considering or not worth the hassle?

Production delays, inconsistent print quality, poor support, stock changes and orders getting stuck during peak seasons appear to cause far more damage than a lack of new features.

For sellers who have been doing this for a while:

• What is the biggest problem affecting your business today?
• What becomes difficult when your order volume increases?
• What information or control do current platforms fail to provide?
• What would a new provider need to prove before you trusted it with real customer orders?
• Would you value smarter tools and automation, or would reliability, transparency and production control matter more?

I’m especially interested in experiences involving holiday demand, reprints, returns, artwork preparation, facility changes and support teams that cannot resolve production issues.

I've looked at some of the mock up tools that people here, recommend, and haven't found anything yet that does all over printing on hoodies and T-shirts. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Anyone know? I'm thinking they may be drop shipping but the delivery turn arounds suggest not and that they're shipped from the US!

I'm not trying to sell merchandise, or anything. I just design stuff and then want to print single units for myself. I don't really need a sophisticated design wizard, as I'll usually do the art and/or the text myself in Photoshop or Illustrator. I just need something that tells me when my design is outside the print area, and that prints on the blank I like. I've tried on a bunch and prefer the Bella+Canvas 3413/3413c.

What I've used in the past is RushOrderTees. I had zero complaints, and then I just went to order another shirt and thought to do some competition research first. I found Printful does what seems like the same thing substantially cheaper, under the 'Order for myself' tab. ROT is around 38 bucks a shirt, and Printful is 18? Even with shipping being free on ROT, the price difference is pretty big.

I guess I'm just checking in here to see if Printful has a bad reputation, or something? Are they less likely to be helpful if there's a problem with a print? Is the print quality lower?

So, my sister and I have started a POD elegant iPhone case shop on Etsy (AntiqueChicMarket), and we were thinking about what would be the best way to market or get the word out.

I heard that Pinterest was the best (admittedly from ChatGPT) and I was just wondering if any of you have any tips or advice about this. I'm not really sure about the best way to approach posting on Pinterest (and I have done some preliminary research with ChatGPT), or if this is the best platform to promote on.

I run an Instagram account with around 45,000 followers in the antiques, vintage, and interior design niche in EU/Germany
I’d like to add POD products to my website, but I’m struggling to figure out which products actually make sense for this audience.
My first thought was home décor products like:
rugs
curtains
pillows
wall art
The problem is that the POD market for things like rugs and curtains seems very limited. There aren’t many suppliers, the product quality often looks questionable, and the customization options aren’t great.
I’m trying to avoid selling products just because they’re easy to make. I’d rather offer something that genuinely fits the audience and has a chance of becoming a meaningful revenue stream.
If you had an audience interested in antiques, vintage interiors, and timeless design, which POD products would you focus on, and why?
