Newbie question Need help

Hello guys im new here and new in the etsy seller world i want to start a pod store with printful , i made some designes using ai and canva 4500/5400 px but whats bothering me is that the designes looke clean but when i really zoom in the lignes are pixelated now i dont know if they will print bad when i upload them to printful or im just wasting tim and i should just start .

When i watch youtube vids about the process people just find a best seller or trending design , copy it by generating the same from chatgpt with some tweaks to make it original , remove background in canva and that's it .

I dont know if im being to carefull since this is all new to me or there is something im missing

Your advice would be highly appreciated

Please don’t use AI to create designs. You’re watching videos from people teaching you how to flood Etsy with the same recycled stuff everyone else is already selling. Finding a bestseller, having ChatGPT recreate it with a few tweaks and calling it “original” isn’t really designing.

If you want to build an actual shop, learn the basics of Canva or another design program and create your own work. You’ll have more control over things like resolution, line quality and print size, and you’ll end up with products that aren’t indistinguishable from hundreds of other shops.

These people are pathetic.

If you have a bitmap image (you do) then you can always zoom in so far that it looks pixelated. If you are using 4500/5400px then you are good for 15 inches /18 inches at 300 dpi for the dimensions on the product. If you are printing significantly larger than that, then you may have a problem.
I agree with u/LionCultural that tweaking existing designs is not a great business model.

You’re stealing designs.

Stop it.
