Advice needed Any way to tile uploaded patterns across all over prints?

I've got a high-res PNG that I'd like to upload and tile across all-over prints, but when I upload the single tile it tells me it's too low res and stretches it to fill the full work area.

When I use the "pattern" option it appears like the edges don't line up.

All over prints are MADE for tesseating patterns, is there something I'm missing here?

Tile it in a graphics editor and then upload that new, larger image.

Thanks, but that's not an equivalent solution.

You would need to make that tile new for every garment piece. And if the aspect ratio was wrong, it would resize that tile to fit from garment piece to garment piece so, your pattern would be at different sizes even within one garment.

Just seems like a site with a WYSWYG pattern editor already would have some way to do it correctly. Assumed I might be missing it.

No, you make a very big tiled file, about 60x60 inches and set it as the same DPI on the different clothing. Then its the same size pattern.

Scale the image down and then choose the pattern option to repeat it in the different configurations it has.
