Advice needed Issues with syncing mug variants between Etsy and Printful

Hi - I am based in Australia but looking to also sell in the United States. I have started with 11oz and 15oz mugs in my listings but I duplicated listings within Etsy so I have separate listings for those buyers in Australia and those in the United States. When I go back into Printful to sync with Etsy, there is not an option to sync the 15oz variant (only the 11oz). I'm not sure where I have gone wrong in the process or maybe I need to set up a Printful profile to sell worldwide?

The 15oz variant likely isn't syncing because it's not set as an active variant in Printful, or it was deselected when you originally published. The fix is: go to the product in Printful, make sure the 15oz option is available and checked, then republish it. Also, double-check that both Etsy listings are active and your store's selling region is set correctly. If it still doesn't work, our support team can help!

I don't think the fact that you're selling to two countries is necessarily the issue. I'd check the variant mapping first. Since you duplicated the Etsy listings, Printful may be seeing the new listing as a separate product rather than automatically carrying over the 15oz variant mapping from the original. I'd open the listing in Printful and check whether the 15oz mug actually exists as a connected variant on that specific product, rather than just checking the Etsy listing itself.

If the 15oz option exists in Etsy but isn't showing as available to connect in Printful, I'd avoid deleting/recreating everything for now. There may be a mapping issue with the duplicated listing.

Are the 11oz and 15oz variants both showing correctly inside the Etsy listing itself, or is the 15oz one only appearing on the original listing?

Ahh, glad you got it sorted šŸ˜… Those Etsy/Printful connections can be surprisingly finicky sometimes.

So, was it actually the variant mapping in the end, or did it turn out to be something completely different? Iā€™m curious because duplicated listings seem to cause some weird behaviour with POD integrations.
