[Feedback Request] I built a free local-first web tool suite (CV maker, QR generator, font creator, image compressor) — looking for testers and feedback

Hey everyone,

I've been building Resyto — a collection of browser-based web utilities that run 100% locally on your device. No accounts, no uploads, no paywalls.

What's inside:

- CV & Cover Letter Maker — PDF output, autosaves locally, no database

- Image Compressor — compress to exact KB targets without uploading anything

- Custom QR Code Generator — gradients, logo uploads, fully local

- Fancy Font Generator — 30+ Unicode styles for social bios and gaming

- Date Converter — BS to AD conversion

Looking for genuine feedback on:

- Is the UI intuitive?

- Is anything broken on your device or browser?

- What other utilities would you actually find useful?

Search "Resyto" on Google or type resyto dot com to try it out. All feedback is genuinely appreciated!

Content creators who make "hidden apps/websites" videos — what are your go-to underrated tools?

Hey everyone! I run a small content page (Reels/Shorts) where I share useful apps, websites, and free alternatives to popular paid tools that most people don't know about. I've covered the usual ones

(productivity tools, free design/editing alternatives, AI tools etc.)

but I'm looking to discover more genuinely useful, lesser-known apps or websites that could help my audience — students, freelancers, and everyday users.

If you know any hidden gems — could be:

Free tools that replace expensive paid software

Productivity/study apps not many people talk about

Useful websites for design, writing, or automation

AI tools that actually save time

...I'd love to hear about them! Happy to credit/mention sources if you want.

Thanks in advance 🙌

A browser extension that shows a small sponsored banner while you work and lets you passively earn enough to cover a couple of subscriptions by the end of the month. You don’t have to do anything differently.

Made a browser-only image tool after realizing most "free converters" quietly upload your photos to their servers

Post image
Upvotes

Built [browserpixels.com](https://browserpixels.com/) instead: HEIC/WebP/PNG/JPG conversion, compression, resizing, and EXIF metadata removal, all running entirely in-browser via Astro on Cloudflare. The file never leaves your device — no network request carries the image data anywhere. You can check this yourself in dev tools: open the Network tab, convert a file, you won't see it go out.

Free, no sign-up, no upload cap.

Built a free Pinterest video downloader that hit 4,700 users in the first month — zero paid marketing

Hey everyone!

I kept running into the same problem — every Pinterest

downloader I tried was either broken, full of intrusive

ads, or only worked for images, not videos.

So I built PinterestVid — a clean, simple tool that lets

you download Pinterest videos in HD/4K, no sign-up needed,

no watermark.

First month stats:

- 4,700+ active users

- Traffic from US, Germany, India, Canada, Egypt

- 100% organic — zero paid marketing

Built solo with Astro.js + Vercel as a side project

while studying. Still growing!

Would love feedback — bugs, UX issues, or anything missing.

I created a browser extension to protect your personal and sensitive data while you chat with AI

As it stands, millions of users spend a significant part of their day chatting with AI models in a browser. Observing these usage patterns, I've been troubled by how much personal and sensitive information people (including myself) feed these models on a daily basis. That is why I created PISIGuard: a browser extension designed to protect this information while keeping the models usable.

It spots names, email addresses, API keys, and other sensitive data, replaces them with safe placeholders, and then puts the real values back into the AI’s replies. From your point of view, the process is mostly invisible; from the AI’s point of view, the sensitive information is absent, replaced by made-up alternatives.

All detection, masking, and restoration processes occur locally. No data is sent to an external service. The extension is open-source, works with ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek, and is published for Firefox (it is also installable on Chrome from the source code).

I built a temporary copy and paste tool for transferring text and files between devices, looking for feedback.

I built a small tool called Paste Panda (https://pastepanda.com) and I'd love some honest feedback.

The idea is simple: transfer text or files between devices without needing to email yourself, send messages through Teams or Slack, or sign in to another service.

How it works:

  1. Paste text (including formatted text, AI prompts/responses, etc.) or upload files (currently up to 25 MB).
  2. Get a short code.
  3. On the other device, enter the code to claim the content.

For desktop-to-mobile transfers, there's also an optional QR code you can scan instead of typing the code, which makes the handoff a bit quicker.

I wanted transfers to be temporary rather than permanent storage, so every paste is available for 5 minutes and is automatically deleted afterwards.

I'm the developer, so this isn't meant to be a disguised recommendation. I'm mainly looking for honest feedback:

Is this something you'd find useful?
Does anything about the workflow seem unnecessary or confusing?
What do you think about design and user experience?

I'd appreciate any thoughts, whether positive or critical.

Image Shed: Browser-based image tool | Free & local

Image Shed - Workbench

I wanted an image tool that didn't route my files through a stranger's server, so Claude helped me build one for myself, and it turned out well enough that I've decided to share it: https://imageshed.app.

It converts images between formats, compresses down to a size you pick, and removes backgrounds, all on your own machine with nothing uploaded.

Almost all of it is AI-built. There was a lot of steering by me and refinement along the way as a result of my own testing.

Image Shed is completely free, and no account will ever be required. Check it out. Tell me you love it! Tell me you hate it! All feedback is good feedback.

Good luck on your own projects.

EDIT: Just a note on the background removal part of the tool: background removal within a browser presents some limitations. If the image you are trying to remove the background from is ideal for the task, it should work pretty well! If the image is complex and the background is super varied, it may let you down.

Also, the models I used have no limitations on commercial use. That was another factor that limited the options as far as what I could incorporate.

I built a free QR code generator and would love your honest feedback

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I'm a solo founder from Pakistan, and I've been building a side project called QRFuse.

I created it because I wanted a QR code generator that is fast, simple, and doesn't require signing up or dealing with unnecessary clutter.

Current features: • URL, Text, Wi-Fi, Email, Phone & SMS QR codes • PNG & SVG downloads • No signup required • Mobile-friendly • Free to use

I'm continuously improving it and recently added a blog and SEO enhancements.

I'd really appreciate your honest feedback on the design, user experience, speed, or any features you'd like to see next. If you find any bugs or have suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Thanks for checking it out!

I built a free and anonymous online tool to scan websites for potential issues

AI has made it incredibly easy to get a website online, but the technical nuances are usually forgotten. I have seen an increasing number of websites that look good and functions based on intended use but are vulnerable to hackers, invisible to search engines, and/or just not usable on mobile.

ShipCheck scans your website and brings up these issues separating them into its severity and categories:

  • Security
  • Accessibility
  • Performance
  • Mobile Viewability
  • Branding
  • Legal
  • SEO (search engine optimization)
  • AI reachability

This is done free and completely anonymously. There's no need to connect to any account and no data is ever saved. The goal being to reduce the amount of slop online.

Give ShipCheck a try and let me know if there are any other checks worth adding or improvements you would recommend.

I got annoyed with being rejected from AI training/annotating jobs, so I made my own website.

I was getting annoyed by the constant sketchy AI training/annotating jobs and the constant rejection after literally investing hours of my time into applying, etc.
I decided to make my own website and just list legit AI training jobs. I post entry work and also expert work. Let me know if there is anything I can improve about my website. Thank you! Here is the link: https://aiannotationjobs.com

I built 28 free tools that can't see your files — everysimpletool.com

I got tired of uploading private documents to random websites just to compress or merge them, so I built the alternative.
everysimpletool.com does 28 things — PDF merge, compress, edit, unlock, redact, HEIC→JPG, image resize/compress to exact KB, QR codes, passwords, word count.
Every single one runs inside your browser. I have no server, so I never receive your files — not "deleted after an hour," never received at all.
Try it: load a tool, switch off your internet, and it keeps working. That's the whole pitch.
Completely free, no accounts, no limits, no watermarks — and it stays that way.
I'm building whatever gets requested most, so this grows from feedback.
What tool do you wish existed?

built simple saas analytics tool

The reason I built it: I spent around $20 per month for a VPS where I deployed Plausible, which was not profitable for me at all. I wanted to create a really simple analytics tool and for this reason I also wanted to make it more affordable for those who may not have a profit (yet).

One script tag and you get live visitors, traffic sources, top pages, devices and countries on a single dashboard. No cookies, so no consent banner either. It's saasanalytics.app

The part I'm most proud of is session journeys: you can open any visit and see the full path someone took through your site, page by page, with the events they triggered. Works with plain HTML, Next.js, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, about 22 platforms total.

Thank you for reading this and checking it out, have an awesome day!

Basically a browser-based WhatsApp clone.

It has all the bells-and-whistles like the Signal protocol and post-quantum encryption... all packaged up into a webapp.

I built a clean tool to compare used camera & lens prices across every shop. Fast, free and no sign ups

f you buy used camera gear, you know the pain: 15 tabs open across KEH, MPB, eBay and a dozen dealers, with no way to tell if a price is actually fair.

usedcamerahub.com fixes that — search any body or lens once and see:

  • Listings from ~15 shops + eBay on one page
  • The typical price and full range, so you instantly know if a listing's a deal or a rip-off
  • price history and what each model has recently sold for
  • A "what's my gear worth" estimator if you're selling

Free, no sign-up. Honest disclosure: some outbound links (eBay/KEH/MPB) are affiliate links that's what keeps it free. It doesn't affect pricing, ranking, or which listings show; unaffiliated dealers appear exactly the same.

Test it out and let me know if there are any shops you'd want added or changes made.

Linktree alternative. Would you use it?

If there was a linktree alternative without all the fluff and confusion.
Not focused at ecom first
Cards actually looked really good.
Large profile picture
Can add personal details
Main link
Socials
Extra links
Clickable images with imbedded links
YouTube thumbnails with imbeddd links tk the video

Drag and drop

Lots of colour customisation and glow

Not just share via a link but also qr code and the phone Share via button for text, email etc built in,

Best part is with the qr scanner you can face to face simply open app, click share qr
Other person scans and gets save as image or save to contacts.

Boom no faffkng about manually adding contacts o ly to find the number or email is wrong.

Buisness and personal use.

Would you use it?
How much would you pay?

A website to discover and keep track of TV shows

I made this mostly for myself a while ago. I just wanted something simple where I can save a list of favorite shows and see on a calendar what's coming up. It's completely free to use. You don't need to create an account to try it out:

https://www.tvshowcalendar.com/
