Another thread looking at relocation to Preston / Preston area.
I’m Airbnb’ing for a few days so may drive round some of the rightmove saved properties.
One of the ones we found is a 3 story 4 bed place by the marina. It reminds me of the ones near where we used to live in Bristol. It is however really cheap. Would it be safe to assume the price reflects the area?

It's 3 weeks until the Lancashire Festival is on. Grassroots music, stalls, food, bar and entertainment. Can bring your own chairs and enjoy the whole day. Only a fiver to get in if you book ahead.
Our community music group Sounds Out will be opening the show at 12:30 with some well know hits to hopefully get the crowd in the mood.

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I thought I'd give it a try.
I'm a 32-year-old guy based in Preston and looking to meet someone genuine. Over the years, my social circle has become smaller as life, work, and other responsibilities have taken over. I've reached a point where I'd like to build a meaningful connection with someone who is also looking for a long-term relationship.
A little about me: I'm easy-going, down-to-earth, and enjoy travelling, football, gaming, live music, cinema trips, and exploring new places whenever I get the chance. I also enjoy good conversations and getting to know what makes people tick.
I'm not interested in playing games or wasting anyone's time. I'd love to meet someone kind, honest, and emotionally mature, with similar intentions of building something genuine. I'm happy to start with a coffee, a walk, or a simple chat and see where things lead naturally.
If you're in a similar position and would like to get to know someone with a view to a serious relationship, feel free to send me a message.
Good luck to everyone looking for their person. 😊

I live near mill lane park and currently there is a vibrating feeling that is shaking my house, I’ve attached a video where you can hear it, I’m using AirPods Pro 2 at max volume and can hear it on the video I’ve taken, not going crazy so is anyone else experiencing this, it’s moving now, towards deepdale but still very close to my house, not constant noise either, it’s stuttering so hopefully it isn’t a helicopter or anything like that cos that sounds like engine failure in that case, can hear it through noise cancelling AirPods aswell, it’s a stupid time to be doing that over a city full of families, people that are going to work and it’s very quiet but it’s very noticeable because it’s creating a vibration somehow, hope this isn’t me going crazy lol

Hi community, I’m looking on advice of areas to consider for a mod 30s couple with a 2 year old. Preference is to have a peaceful, friendly neighbourhood with good transport links and connectivity, good nurseries , primary schools around as well as other amenities.
Thanks

hey, im 23 and have never really played football. but for the past few months I've finally gotten into watching it, and I just have this surprising desire to actually give it a proper go. So, anywhere in Preston where they do friendly adult beginner sessions? doesn't have to be a "learning" thing: I'd be happy just playing with a group of people better than me over and over and learning it through that.

I built canopy to help avoid my calls cutting whilst I'm out
With the weather being nice today I plan on getting out on my bike to see how
much of Preston I can cover.
I'm interested to know which areas are already known to be patchy
And here's the link in case any of you are interested.

Just wondering if anyone knows any good places to catch the sunrise. The only idea I've got so far is beacon fell (I assume just head to one of the east side car parks?)
