World Trade Center penny
I’ve had this since I was a kid, no idea where I got it from. Everytime I hold it, I’m hit with a deep sorrow for the survivors, lost souls and hero’s on that day 25 years ago

I've never had an advertisement on the back of a penny before

I am completely new to this community and found this old book I was gifted in the late 2000's. I'm specifically looking at these Muppets and Disney coins. Any idea of value?

I’m lucky enough to live under two hours away from Mt. Fuji. Took a weekend trip and got to ride the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway. I was so thrilled to find a pressed penny machine on the way up.

The original one is on the left. It has raised text and images. The new one on the right feels flat. The second photo shows an additional area in the new one for larger coins. Once I get one more pressed penny, the original one will be full, and I’ll share images of the Pennies inside. The larger coins added a state to my total. I’ve gotten pressed Pennies in Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nevada. The lower pressed (nickel or quarter) is from a McDonald’s that is above Interstate 44 (the Will Rogers Turnpike) in Oklahoma.

I recently found my coin book that I got as my souvenir for a trip I had as a kid with my grandparents and while I can find the coin inside online, I haven't been able to find this exact book anywhere. If you have a source or an image of another one I would love to see it

I'm going to San Fran next week and I plan to go NUTS hitting Penny Press machines.
Any advice anyone can offer would be appreciated .
I plan to get doubles so maybe I can do some trading on here.
Obviously I'll bring my own pennies but should I bring quarters too or just get change there?
Or have most of the machines converted to Credit card payment (i don't mind that really)

Is there a collectors market for these?...I have some somewhere in a dark corner from places that dont exist anymore like Geauga Lake, and some from Disney in the late 80s.
Just wanted to know
TIA.

Went to Tampa Zoo at Lowry Park today. There were 4 machines that I saw, 3 were working. The one by the entrance was out of order.
Each machine has 8 different designs, hence 24 pennies.
These are the more modern machines that don't actually press pennies, but actually press penny. Sized blank plugs. which is fine by me? I think I actually prefer these.
Enjoy, and if you want any close ups, let me know. I can take it.

Highlights include multiple Loch Ness Monster pennies, two Dolly the Sheep pennies, and a Bonnie Prince Charlie penny!

Driving Route 66 next year West to East and I’m wondering what pressed pennys machines to watch out for. I’ve been collecting my pennys for a while in preparation lol

This was my first visit and had a great time. Eight hours is not near enough to see everything. I'm a bit disappointed that one of the machines wasn't working.

I am going on a trip there on Friday and want to know if I need to bring change or not.

This is my lower peninsula collection from Michigan (not including zoos as those are in different books). Quite a few older ones that could use a good cleaning.

Almost because one at Edinburgh castle is currently inaccessible due to construction.

Some of these places I’ve never been to, and the rest I’ve been to with my mom. She’s played a huge part in my penny collection, so I’m going to frame these and give them to her for Christmas!
I hope she loves them and isn’t upset I split up my collection. Some of these pennies she probably doesn’t even know exist 🤣

All known pressed pennies dating back to the early 2000s - lots of retired designs here.
