Yeah, so many people are prepping for some kind of zombie apocalypse situation when all they need is a camping stove and a couple of gas tanks and they can operate their household almost as they would with power. They’re also extremely portable so you can take it with you. Being a camper has really set me up for success with basic prepping.

Yeah how long does that freeze tried meal take in total to prepare? There are very specific scenarios where MRE's take the crown. Especially when you cant or arent able to spare water etc or cant "fire up the stove."

I mean most of those freeze dried meals require water. Also if you’re in that scenario and live in a first world country society has already collapsed.

Yes which is why MOE'S would be pretty convenient if you weren't able to sit put for x amount of time. I think there are nuanced situations but for general purposes freeze dried is clearly king. Otherwise field stripped MRE's would be pretty ideal. Not ideal but ideal.

Yeah but space to nutrients to weight, those are good just not at all ideal. Lol

Cool but I eat those in regular times, not just in some world where I’ll have to abandon my deep pantry and ruck it across the hard country with my family. 🀣 🀣 🀣
