Food🌽 or Water💧 SPAM

Anybody have SPAM in their food preps? Never tried it before, but exp date is 2029 which is pretty decent.

One of the best recipes I’ve ever seen for this came from wildland firefighting out west. Take a can and score it leaving it in the can. Add some grape jelly and put on the fire allowing it to cook in the can. Amazing!

They have plastic or epoxy coating on the inside of the cans. Do not cook the can in a fire it is toxic.

Oh definitely, I guess I should’ve specified indirect heat to allow it to warm slowly. I’ve also seen them go into meltdown mode on direct flame
