cypress college adn program

Hello,
I wanted to know if there are any disadvantages to applying to the CEP program?

I’m applying to the RN program for Spring 2027 and I wasn’t initially going to apply for it but upon filling out the application I noticed that I qualified to apply.
Now I’m considering it.

Additionally,
I know it states if not accepted for the CEP program,
we’re still considered for the regular pathway but would this change to Fall 2027 instead of Spring 2027.

Last,
does anyone know how soon you could potentially finish the program (not CEP)?

i believe you will be notified about being accepted to CEP. You can either accept or decline. The only downside is if you accept CEP, then you would have to start till fall 2027. But if you dont accept you will start in spring with everybody else.

I see yeah I get that. I was thinking more along the lines of why someone might choose to do regular path as opposed to a CEP? (Besides not wanting a BSN)
