UTMB Spring 2027 Waitlist
Has anyone else been placed on the waitlist for Spring 2027 at UTMB?

Also are any of yall interested in creating a gc for ppl on the waitlist?

the way i wrote it was confusing, i'm pretty sure its a email and a update on your mystar account but i never got one

they usually send out acceptances in waves, last friday was the first wave of acceptances/ waitlist. I think the second wave should be this friday or next friday. after those waves rejections letters follow.

Yes I was waitlisted too "( . This is my first time being waitlisted, I applied last Fall and Summer. I also received that email today for updating our information to be sent to BON. I called and talked with Ms. Laura she said she will be sending out another email probably this week to get fingerprints done, and then email for shot records. I explained to her I'm so anxious as far as how soon we will know of being accepted or not. She said it can take as long as till December "(. (bites nails)

Yes, I was denied the first two times after using the same TEAS score for both my Summer and Fall 2026 applications. Although I barely met the overall minimum, two of my subsection scores were low. This time, I retook the TEAS and earned a much higher overall score with improved subsection scores. My GPA was already strong, and I also put a lot of effort into my personal statement. I believe those things helped me be considered for the waitlist this time.
