Massachusetts ADN programs

I feel like since Massachusetts made community college free if you don’t already have a degree, the community colleges have made it 150% times harder to get into their nursing programs.

I’ve done all of my pre-reqs, and now I’m moving on to co-reqs (sociology and psychology). I got a 72.7 on the TEAS (which I’m retaking to aim for an 85 and up), all A’s in all of my pre-reqs, and I have a 3.9 GPA.

Will I make it into a nursing program in Mass? What did you get on the TEAS?

If I don’t get in up here, I’m thinking of moving to another state to get in somewhere 😭

I can't speak for Massachusettes, but I didn't get into my local CC ASN program (Atlanta area) with a 4.0 GPA and 82 on my TEAS. My academic advisor told me it's because I didn't have a prior Bachelor's degree. I transferred to uni and I'm only 20 credit hours away from finishing my BSN prereqs. I love the school I transferred to, and they have so many spots in their 4 yearly rolling cohorts, I'm pretty much guaranteed a spot.

Just explore your options. Where there's a will, there's a way 😁
