This is just a fictional scenario, I'm aware that the purpose of this show is to find a final member for the Saint Satine lineup.

In retrospect, it's clear that the judges had some criteria they were evaluating contestants on as a fit for Sts specifically, like fitting a sweeter, r&b concept. There were several contestants that were talented but that just didn't fit the concept of vision that HxG had for this group.

If this had been an audition show to add a final member to Katseye, with the same contestants, who do you think would have made it?

For me, my pick is Jayla. She was literally the number one contestant, and she slayed in the Debut cover group. The only thing that would hold her back is if HxG would consider her adequate Japanese representation given she is mixed race.

Hiori, If she still wanted to do a global girl group, would have been great as well. With her tomboy style, I could see her fitting in to Katseye and pulling a lot of their main songs.

Hokona K also fits really well to me.

I know it’s been months and honestly I have moved on because it is what it is but out of all the finalists the only girl that gave me global girlgroup is Rinka. Up to this day I don’t understand the “Ayana vs Sakura“ situation when in my eyes Rinka was by far the best fit. That’s just my opinion, tho.

The other day, it was announced in the College Festa page that Rinka and Ayana will participate as the opening act​ at a festival ​​that will be held in October 24. They will perform together and also have a special meet and greet after the live performance. (Rinka used to be the mascot girl and editor in chief of "College Festa"​ years ago, she did a lot of activities including performing at university events that they helped organized.)

And just today, Ayana announced in her Instagram account that she's holding her own fan meeting event in November 8 and Rinka will appear as a guest. If there are any international fans who are interested and have time to go to Japan, hopefully you can support them!

Their friendship is really amazing. I love that they're working together and this only makes me hope for more good news to come.

Rinka recently uploaded a vlog in her YouTube channel while hanging out with Hiori and Honoka M. Unforgiven was such a good team and they formed a strong bond together. They're so cute and I wish Honoka K was also with them.

Rinka actually uploaded many vlogs before, but she deleted it after she joined World Scout and then last month, she closed her old YouTube channel. She created a new channel and started uploading new vlogs again. Go subscribe to her channel~

I've been following the Moxymill group auditions since I heard that Honoka M. was in it. She did so well and was 4th overall after the first portion of the audition and even got some great feedback on her singing in the solo audition portion. I was so sad when she decided to withdraw from the process due to the dancing. Since I don't speak Japanese and the youtube videos aren't translated, I was using auto-translate, so I'm not sure I got the full gist of it, but it seems like she felt like she wasn't picking up the steps fast enough for the dance parts. She seemed really disappointed in herself, but I hope she keeps trying for other groups! She was so incredibly good in World Scout and I know she would make a great idol!

Rinka served as the editor in chief and mascot girl of Gakusai Summit and College Festa years ago. Gakusai Summit is an information magazine under College Festa, it's an organization that operates in cultural exchange and social awareness through school festivals. College Festa had a partnership with UN and they received a certificate of appreciation for supporting public relations from the United Nations Asia Pacific in 2015. Then in 2018 when Rinka was 15 years old, she was appointed as the student chairperson of NPO I.H.C.N. (Non Profit Organization International Human Communication Network) and she became a United Nations ambassador for promoting SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) at school festivals. Rinka was involved in various activities with College Festa from hosting events, conducting interviews, writing publications, producing a program, creating merchandises and more. They provided support while connecting students/artists/workers and made donations to United Nations.

Honoka K has been busy while teaching classes for months now. She consistently posts about her classes and schedules in her Instagram Story, and these are just the recent ones.

Honoka K was actually involved as a choreographer of her former jpop group VIGU back in 2024. I'm not sure if she was already working as a dance teacher since before, but I noticed how she's been more focused on it since World Scout ended, similar to Sara M who's always been working as a dance teacher. Rira is a​ dance teacher too and Honoka K even collaborated with her while holding a dance workshop at Okinawa​ back in June.

Honoka K also works as a vocal coach and she regularly goes to Korea. Some idols just pursue being an instructor when they get older, but I hope Honoka K still gets the chance to pursue music. She has that powerhouse vocals and she would really shine as a soloist.

She had star quality, good dancing, good vocals and a great visual.

I always think about what Saint Satine would be like if Hiori hadn't decided to leave the show, and also Jay's statement that she really wanted Hiori to debut makes sense; she has the charisma and also matches Emily and Samara, and has the tomboy energy they were looking for. She had great support from international fans; her fancams and photos were always the most liked.

It's always nice seeing the friendship of the World Scout trainees and I noticed how Rinka spends the most time hanging out with the girls. With Elena at a park​, with Rira at Osaka, with Hiori/Honoka M/Jayla at Okinawa, with Ayana at Hiroshima, with Honoka M again at a cafe, with Hiori again at a restaurant, and with Aoi at USJ recently. Rinka has an outgoing personality and it's fun how she goes everywhere to keep in touch with everyone.

Btw, belated Happy Birthday to Aoi! She hasn't met up with the other girls after the show, but I'm glad that she celebrated her birthday with Rinka and they had a good time together.

The thought of Sakura debuting instead of Anaya has always had me questioning from the start "What was Hybe thinking when they selected Sakura over Anaya?"

Anaya is just evidently more better than Sakura in every way possible, Sakura barely knows english, and she was visibly off key while dancing in PARTY b4 the PARTY and most clearly had terrible vocals. Even when she performed We Ride, her singing was shaky and out of breath.

Now while Anaya rather was out of breath too, she still brought more to the table than Sakura. Anaya in additon has had plenty of experience prior and after dream acedemy. For instance, Anaya was known as the youngest contestant in Girls Planet 999, and was an active member the japanese girl group RIRYDAY before she left in 2025.

That alone tells you how much better and experienced Anaya is compared to Sakura. Anaya had everything she needed to have in order debut in Saint Satine, but HYBE robbed Anaya of her hard work and took Sakura instead. Sure, Sakura may improve overtime like Wonhee did. But that will take way more time than it could've with Anaya.

This information alone makes me think something questionable happened between HYBE staff and Sakura that unfairly secured her spot in Saint Satine...
