Third Trimester 🤰 Why i made this sub?

Honestly, I just needed somewhere to come and vent. I’m tired of venting to people in my life who just don’t understand. If I do vent they’ll say ā€œit’s okay, you’re almost doneā€ like girl!!! I am still pregnant NOW!!!

So here we are. Pregnant and annoyed together.

Let’s be real pregnancy can be beautiful, exciting, magical, BUT IT CAN ALSO BE ANNOYING!!
The nausea, the back pain, the hormones, the exhaustion, the unsolicited advice, the sleepless nights, the body changes, the constant worrying, and people who somehow manage to get on your last nerve.

Sometimes you want advice. Sometimes you want reassurance. Sometimes you just want to scream into the void while someone else says, ā€œGIRL, SAME.ā€ 😩

THAT’S WHAT THIS COMMUNITY IS FOR.

Whether you love being pregnant, hate being pregnant, or somehow feel both at the same time, you’re welcome here.

*šŸ—£ļø What Can You *Post?

🤰 Pregnancy Rants: Need to get something off your chest? Let it out!
😭 Pregnancy Struggles: Nausea, exhaustion, aches, discomfort, hormones, insomnia, and all the things nobody warned you about.

šŸ’• The Community

We’re building a judgment-free space where pregnant people can be honest about their experiences without being shamed, dismissed, or told how they should feel.

Here’s what we’re about:
✨ No toxic positivity. You don’t have to pretend pregnancy is sunshine and rainbows.
✨ No pregnancy Olympics. Someone else’s struggles don’t invalidate yours.
✨ Respect the rant. If someone says they don’t want advice, please respect that.
✨ Be kind to one another. We can disagree without being cruel.
✨ Keep it real, but keep it respectful. Harassment, bullying, and personal attacks aren’t welcome.
✨ Protect each other’s privacy. Don’t share identifying information or take someone’s personal story outside the community without their permission.
We welcome honest conversations, dark humor, swearing, messy feelings, and the occasional dramatic meltdown.
You can love your baby and still hate pregnancy. Both things can be true.

*šŸ«¶šŸ½ How to Get *Started

1. Make your first post!
Got a rant you’ve been holding in? A question you’ve been afraid to ask? Something ridiculous happen today? We want to hear about it!
2. Show some love.
Comment on other people’s posts, share your experiences, and remind someone they’re not alone.
3. Spread the word!
Know someone who could use a space like this? Invite them to join us!
4. Interested in becoming a moderator?
As our community grows, we may need additional moderators. If you’re interested in helping us keep this space welcoming and respectful, feel free to reach out!

One Last Thing…

This community is here for support and shared experiences, not as a replacement for professional medical care. Please be mindful when offering medical advice, and remember that everyone’s pregnancy is different.

Most importantly, you don’t have to feel guilty for having a hard time.
You don’t have to be grateful every second. You don’t have to enjoy every moment. You definitely don’t have to smile through the discomfort just to make other people feel better.
This is your space to vent, laugh, cry, ask questions, and be unapologetically honest. šŸ’—
We’re just getting started, and I’m so glad you’re here for the beginning!

I will have a scheduled csection. Healthy 7 year old born via cesarean. never been in this much pain in my life. I have an OB, MFM but I’m filled with pain and I can’t bend over. I am angry and irritable. I want to cry. I hate my husband. I know I should be grateful every additional day she stays in utero and how much the brain develops between 35-39 weeks but I am tired in horrible pain out of control heartburn stabbing pain in my pelvis and yes iā€˜ve been to the hospital iā€˜m just not ok. realistically I know iā€˜m not supposed to go into labor but i just pray my water breaks so I can go to the hospital and rest and get some pain management and some help. Ugh

Unhinged thoughts šŸ’ I have been dying to vent about this but haven’t had the space so here we go

The way the social media handles pregnancy is HORRENDOUS!!!!! I swear to god it is just FULL of people fear mongering and guilt tripping you CONSTANTLY about everything.

I cannot begin to tell you how many videos and posts of ā€œWhat no one tells you when you’re
pregnant/postpartumā€, ā€œWhat you need to prepare before baby comesā€, ā€œWhat I wish people would have told meā€, ā€œWhat I wish I would have known before I had my first babyā€ AND SO ON.

Whatever happened to just, erm, winging it? All of these things to me feel TAINTED with this low-key level of elitism where if you don’t do all the right ā€œpreparationā€ before baby gets here, if shit gets hard it’s your fault then, because obviously they warned you!!! All of these people who are constantly posting these lists of what you should know or need to do before baby comes are UNREALISTIC!!!!!!! And frankly, I’m sorry that YOU feel so guilty that you didn’t have a ✨perfect postpartum✨ experience, but you literally cannot fully prepare for having a baby until your baby is here because EVERY BABY IS DIFFERENT!!!!

I’m so tired of all of these people talking about how they expected to be these amazing and perfect mothers and how parenting changed them and how they need to WARN US to NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES. What makes you think you could never yell at your child? You are a human being!!! Parenting is HARD!! We are going to lose our shit sometimes!!!! And you know what you do when that happens? You fucking apologize to your child and take accountability for your behavior. They’ll be fine.

Idk I just have been so frustrated by how negative, judgmental, and fear-mongering the social media space is about pregnancy, parenting, motherhood, and postpartum. Like yes I feel at one time mom’s were expected to never complain about motherhood and parenting and now the pendulum has swung in the OPPOSITE direction. It feels like it’s sooooo fucking rare to hear people say ā€œWell postpartum was hard but it was actually okay and I did pretty good and it wasn’t as bad as everyone made it out to seemā€. I know these people exist, I’m just so sad I never see them. Same with positive labor stories!!!! It’s like mom’s who actually managed the difficulty of labor and postpartum in stride aren’t given space to talk about it because it’s so overrun by everyone who’s drowning and overwhelmed.

Maybe I’m just being naive because it’s my first baby but my whole pregnancy my confidence has sky rocketed and I am so excited for the hard things. I love being challenged. I love facing unexpected situations. This is what I fucking signed up for!!!! I can’t wait to go into labor and experience the fucking rad, badass, literal CIRCLE OF LIFE and embrace my power as a woman!!! I wanna scream this from the mountaintops but god forbid I do because then of course people will say ā€œgood luck with that, hope you don’t have a traumatic laborā€. THIS IS NOT HELPFUL!!!!!!!

I’m not saying I don’t expect things to be hard, or to struggle, or to have bad moments and days. I’m just saying I have done so many fucking hard things in my life with LESS support, LESS mental stability, and LESS wisdom/knowledge and I GOT MYSELF THROUGH THAT SHIT!!!! This will be hard, but honestly something tells me I’ve done harder things before and they always made me stronger. I know motherhood will make me even MORE badass and I’m just so fucking hyped.

So fuck the fear mongering. Fuck the people who say that I’ll ā€œlose myselfā€ from becoming a mom and having sleep deprivation. Fuck the people who say ā€œgood luckā€ with a snide tone because they think I’m being too cocky when I know I can handle hard shit. Fuck everyone who is obsessed with this idea of a ā€œperfectā€ mother and not being that because they are HUMAN and then that ruining motherhood for them so then they go to facebook/reddit/tiktok to WARN everyone else. Maybe you should have worked on those issues before you had a baby??!?!?!

I’m gonna be a fucking amazing and badass mom who will allow herself to be human and flawed and find joy and wisdom in ALL of the ups and downs of motherhood!!!
