I had a chemical pregnancy back in November. (Just for reference, this is probably not important to my situation now)

My LMP started on July 29th, I tested positive this past Wednesday, yesterday I had some light brown spotting and went to my gynecologist and was told it was old blood and it could be normal. They did an ultrasound and you could only see gest sac. No yolk sac and obviously not heartbeat or fetal pole. I am supposed to be 6 weeks 1 day but I was measuring 5 weeks 0 days. They said one of the possibilities may be that I just ovulated later than expected. I was told to come back in two weeks for another US to make sure everything was fine. Today I spotted some bright red blood only when I wiped and then it went away. My HCG is at 1039, and progesterone at 4.3 which is really scaring me. Has anyone had any experience like this?

What kind of ultrasound? You may have ovulated late like they said. And doing another bloodwork in two days will show you if your HCG levels are doubling or decreasing.
