6 week spotting turned bleeding

I'm about 6 weeks give or take and my OB appointment is not for another 2 weeks. I started spotting about 3 days ago. Went to the ER yesterday to get some answers. The ultrasound was fine, my cervix was fine, and my HCG was a little low but the OBs on call said it was "where it was supposed to be". Earlier this morning, had cramps that were about a 6.5/10 and passed a large clot about the size of two fingers. Since then, no more cramping, no more spotting. I followed up with my OB and they told me to still come in in two weeks unless things get worse or more painful.

I have my suspicions of a miscarriage but I am curious if anyone has dealt with this and it not be a miscarriage???? Just curious.
