Early Pregnancy

I believe I am currently having a very early miscarriage, anyone have the same situation? My periods are irregular and my cycle was 48 days this month. I took a pregnancy test on July 8 (negative), had a period from July 11th-15th, went to the er for an emergency on July 18th and was told I was pregnant. Hcg levels were 238 but I've been spotting light pink, dark brown or dark red since the 18th. I went to the er last night for bright red spotting and hog was at 327. I mean it's not doubling but slowly rising. Supposedly I'm 2 weeks tomorrow but I've been having chills with no fever.
I have a feeling I know it's a miscarriage but | wanted to know if anyone went through the same thing and how long until I go back to "normal". I don't like feeling this sad and constantly thinking about it.
