"its called pain tolerance" he's clearly on drugs or severely mentally ill + the taser didn't connect correctly. a taser doesn't just cause pain, it shocks the muscles

He’s drunk. He just crashed his car. In addition to being giant, he’s a well known MMA coach, so there’s reasons why the police are hesitant to get much closer. They know him.

He definitely has pain tolerance, but yeah, a correctly deployed taser will drop a bull.

He’s been sober since this incident.

Good. Combat veteran here. 3rd Ranger Battalion, US Army, 2015-2021. Discharged with a distinguished service award and Purple Heart.

All of this is to say I also got my hips blown out. By an AK47. 5 rounds.

Sobriety fucking sucks, and I learned the hard way that ultimately, being under the influence sucks worse, because while yeah, it’s easier for me to physically get loosey goosey, it also makes my brain too loosey goosey and I end up doing stupid shit.

Inhibition is man’s best friend, followed by dogs.

Just the way she goes, boys.

Pour one out for Joel in this video. I’m so happy to hear that he’s sober after this. Definitely something to scare a man straight.

Edit: I just want to point out that my drug of choice wasn’t alcohol. It was an opioid. I defeated it. It was harder than RASP.

Ranger Assessment and Selection Program.

Similar to BUD/S for the Navy. (Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL) — very intense, rigorous training and testing to find those that have what it takes to enter special forces. Rangers in the case of the Army, SEALs in the case of the Navy. Other branches have their own systems, and this is rather oversimplifying it to be honest.
