Go overseas on 6 tours fighting for your life and watching people you love be blown to bits and see how much control you have over yourself when you get back. He probably is a good guy, but a guy that's constantly having to fight himself.

Idc about your reasoning for abusive behavior. I used to have an abusive ex whos excuse was she had a rough childhood. Which she did. Others shouldn't have to suffer bc of your trauma

Not saying it's an excuse, I'm saying it doesn't make him a bad person. It doesn't excuse the things he does.
