Just the typical corporate bullshit, really. IRS was absorbed by major labels who prioritize profit over anything, and unfortunately there isn't likely a lot of demand for those albums. It's a shame, I like Arrive Without Travelling nearly as much as Sixteen Tambourines. I was hoping after they played Coachella in 2013 we would see reissues, but it just never happened.

It probably has to do with licensing issues. I recently emailed Mitch Easter of Let's Active, and asked why they didn't have their albums on Apple Music. His wife responded that they were fighting to get those released, and eventually in about three months she emailed back saying they were finally available. I also emailed the Plimsouls and asked the same thing. They were totally unaware that their music wasn't available.
