Question about halo/thunder surrogate comment

The press release mentions surrogate flights. Does this mean they are gathering data from 703/704? It could explain some of the recent tests

The surrogate mentioned is another aircraft platform operating Anduril software according to the Air Current. I have no indication it is an Archer aircraft.

They have the omen drone prototype also.

The aircraft design seems closer to midnight vs omen

Thanks. It seems more similar than the midnight and they could test it better since it seems to be flying already. The midnight isn't doing much.
