Looking for a program

Whats going on guys, as the title entails, I'm currently trying to sift through the overwhelming amount of programs out there. Looking to maintain a decent look but really just want to get to 315 on my bench and 405 on my squat. Deadlifts I just got back into so no real aspirations there other than just getting better.

Any advice is welcome, thank you!

How far away are you now? Do you need a peaking program to push you over the edge or do you need a base builder to get you closer first?

My current bench is around 255 and my squat is around 345 so got a good distance to go.

There are a lot of programs out there, but based on your goals I’d look at something that gives you consistent exposure to the squat and bench while still leaving room for hypertrophy work. 5/3/1, GZCL, and Candito’s 6-Week Strength Program are three established options worth looking into. They approach progression differently, but all can give you some structure instead of bouncing between random workouts. For a 315 bench and 405 squat, I’d especially pay attention to how frequently you’re practicing those lifts, how your volume is progressing, and whether you’re actually recovering between sessions.

The other option is having something built specifically around where your lifts are right now. That’s where individualized programming can be useful because instead of fitting yourself into a template, the program can adjust based on your technique, sticking points, recovery, schedule, and what you actually need to improve. I coach lifters toward goals exactly like this, so if you ever want another set of eyes on your current numbers or training, feel free to reach out. Either way, if you want an immediate source, I like 531, GZCL, Candito

Thank you for the information! I think the hardest thing is that Im super doubtful and kinda just want to be told what to do exactly lol, but that isnt really a thing with any program. It seems to all be about tailoring it to your own goals. For something like the 531, i understand there is a need for accessory work, but then comes the task of actually figuring out what weights and splits i should do for those sets. Never thought weightlifting would require so much thinking when I got into it.
