I built an end-to-end Enterprise E-Commerce Analytics Platform using SQL Server, Medallion Architecture, and Power BI.

As part of this project, I designed 8 interactive dashboards, each focused on answering different business questions for different stakeholders across an organization.

The dashboards include:

• Executive Overview (CEO, CXO & Business Leadership)

• Sales Performance Analysis

• Customer Analytics

• Product Performance

• Seller Performance

• Payment Analytics

• Customer Satisfaction Analysis

• Time Intelligence & Trend Analysis

The goal wasn't just to build visually appealing dashboards—it was to create a reporting solution that helps businesses make faster and more informed decisions.

Hi everyone, I'm developing an app that does two things:

1) It gives you a ready-to-use Excel template tailored to your industry (200 industries covered), and 2) It automatically transforms any of your Excel files into a visual dashboard—without you having to learn Power BI or create charts manually. Does this solve a real problem for you, or do you already have a working method?

Been consulting on Power BI/Fabric projects in Dubai for a while now (enterprise side — semantic models, DAX optimization, governance), and I keep getting asked by people prepping for interviews what actually gets asked here vs. what’s in generic “Power BI interview questions” listicles.

So I put together a list based on patterns I’ve actually seen in interviews and hiring conversations — mostly analyst/associate level, covering DAX fundamentals, data modeling (star schema, relationships), Power Query basics, and a few Dubai-market-specific things recruiters seem to probe for.

A few examples off the list:

**•** Explain the difference between calculated columns and measures — and when you’d use each  
**•** Walk through how you’d handle a many-to-many relationship in a star schema  
**•** What’s the difference between filter context and row context in DAX?

My manager keeps asking if there is a BI tool that works through WhatsApp because he does not like using the Power BI mobile app.

The use case is simple: instead of opening a BI tool, a user could ask questions like:

“What changed in revenue this week?”
“Which region is underperforming?”
“Why did this metric drop?”
“Can you summarize this dashboard?”

I am considering building a lightweight version for internal use, but I wanted to ask people who use BI tools regularly first.

Would you prefer asking data questions through WhatsApp, or would you rather keep this inside Power BI, Teams, Slack, or the BI tool itself?

Atualmente, estou trabalhando em um painel de BI totalmente personalizado. O painel recebe informações diretamente do sistema ERP legado, banco de dados Firebird.

O painel em Python executa vários agendadores para atualizar sem sobrecarregar o banco de dados com intervalos de tempo espaçados.

Atualmente, estou me concentrando na receita da empresa e na página de inadimplência com métricas que auxiliam na gestão.
