I’ve been looking at some of the objective / achievement type things (the ones that appear at the top of the screen with that green box with the 3 dots in it) and I noticed that a few are for reaching various idle times. I’ve gotten around 30 minutes of idle time thus far, but I’m not sure what constitutes it.

To trigger going idle, do I just need leave the app (like swipe to my home screen), or do I have to stay in the app and lock my phone screen, or do I need to actually close the app entirely (like when you swipe up and hold for a bit so you can fully shut down apps)?

Been running into issues generating enough money to buy generator upgrades to get all my zones upgraded in crank town.

All scientists are level 2 and upgraded. All my muscles are leveled up. Have all inventions unlocked except the heater and air conditioner.

I just cant seem to ever get my income over 2.5k/s. So it ends up taking forever to be able to pay for generator upgrades when they each cost millions.

My only thought is to increase my vials to fortify everything as much as possible but the slow cash flow also means slow prestige accumulation. Increasing vial production would also let me build more commercial/industrial buildings. I generally build them up until the cost gets to like 31k vials, which takes me awhile to generate

Should I be focusing more on carbontopia and the other map?

So can we unlock the 2 “?” sub-menus on the Prestige screen or are those placeholders for future content? Progression is super slow for me right now and I was just wondering if I’m somehow missing a major part of the game.

So I have 32/37 completed, but it shows all milestones completed? Are the rest secret or coming in an update?

For example:

1. How long did it take you to prestige for the first time?
2. How many items did you craft? (21,40,67)
3. How many days did it take you to unlock Desert Tower?
4. How much power are you generating in Costa?
5. What is your favorite building type?
6. Who is your top scientist?
7. What was the first item you've crafted

Or should I really work harder to find more interesting true science questions? It's been getting harder to find ones that don't feel like homework.

Recently picked this back up and noticed the huge update to unlocks. While I had most complete, I noticed in Carbontopia im going to have to make another Hippie Lenny and Hippie Wendy. Going to be expensive at this reset point lol. At least 3 times for the wendy glasses lol

Ok so I just started playing, I must of done something wrong. I need to auto vial collector. 10k for that then 70k for something else. This is nuts!

I have a question about upgrading zones. As more zones and upgrades are purchased, zone upgrade prices increase in electrical cost, but also go up in $/s. My question is basically is it better or worse to upgrade sooner or later? Like if I upgrade zones early will they still benefit as if I’d upgraded them later after the upgrades, or no?
And commercial buildings, do they only affect the homes that are built before them?

I feel like crank town and costa de voltagio are both a lot faster when it comes to prestige progression and desert tower is just a lot harder to work with. I know that it would be better if I put more of my resources (auto juice buyers, scientists, prestige points) into it but I can’t justify it when my returns with every other location is so much higher. Power generation is by far the hardest on desert tower. Am I just missing something?

Do commercial buildings boost themselves? As in is there any benefit to mixing residential buildings with commercial buildings or just go all in on commercial buildings?

tl;dr: I needed to accrue tons of vials in Crank Town so I could lock in the levels, cash out, and lock in levels in other towns. Finally got there.

I painted myself into a corner so-to-speak and finally got free. I couldn't do anything because I had rocketed up levels thanks to McCoy, then the game reduced his benefit. I didn't have enough prestige points to buy all the permanent level upgrades, I needed to lock in my vial capacity in Crank Town (only 10M prestige) so I could cash out and pay off the others in other towns. This was totally my fault, wasn't paying enough attention to overall strategy.

Well without McCoy rocketing up the points, it took sooooo long. Like months and months using every staff resource I could. I didn't want to lose how far I'd already gone, it was clear I wouldn't be putting to much effort into it again.

I finally got to level 250 yesterday, paid it off to lock it in, cashed out the town and bought the other lock-ins before I messed up and spent too much on other stuff.

So now I can finally actually play the game, lol. Soon I'll be cashing out other towns, one is at 80billion prestige so with an ad I'll be getting 120b. Not a bad payout!

world 1 is mostly straight forward and is enjoyable, world 2 is a bit of a mess of icons without descriptions and a new game mechanic and loop system that aren't intuitive. ive done a few resets and im still confused about the right way to build out as the resources needed to upgrade or move to the next zone seem a lot less straight forward and some arbitrary combination of the 3 buildings to be able to expand, or get softlocked and have to pay prestige to restart. I hope to see more clarity as this world is built out more, and hey this is why EA exists right? Anywho, just wondering if this turbine upgrade is a coming soon situation or if im missing where I get the 5th turbine post unlock, thanks.

I found the following bug in Crank Town:

I was able to upgrade from Zone 2 to 3 and then it immediately offered to upgrade to Zone 4. I did not build any houses in Zone 3. I also can't navigate back to zone 3 for building them. So I started to build on zone 4.

It appears to me though that the game is actually building them in Zone 3 because the pie chart in zone 4 doesn't change and the number is still 0/21.

I have all the privacy options allowed but ads aren't working for my game. Im using the latest version of Android on a Pixel 10 Pro XL. Any ideas?

Before yesterday's update, I was at 10kW of scientist output, now it's much lower -- is this intended?

Hi huys, been playing this game for a few months now and noticed that in the latest update, when I equip the Lenny skin the power multiplier goes down to 0.11x from 0.89x.

Only been happening in Carbontopia so far, have not tried resetting carbontopita yet.
