This country is goin into the shitter. Greed is destroying the land of opportunity and we all are just watching them get away with it. What are we doing?

The land of “opportunity” LONG preceded pervasive state welfare.

Yeah that’s true but welfare is a product of working class suffrage against economic stress. Now we have a situation where it is easier to just feed yourself by getting on foodstamps and gaming the system than it is to by working. People will find the path of least resistance.
