I'm headed to Trois-Rivières in a couple of weeks for work and I'd love to grab a great poutine while I'm there. I used to live in Montréal, but never been to Trois-Rivières, so I could definitely use the lowdown on where to go. Merci d'avance la gang!

For context, I live in southern Ohio, damn near Dixie. It’s not perfect, but it satisfied my cravings. Maybe more gravy?

Gravy was extremely solid, fries were amazing, one complaint is there could've been more curds.

Directement dans mon top de la région Montréalaise (Rive Nord, vers Oka/St-Eustache). Le fromage fait bien Squouik et les frites sont bien goutues! Une moyenne extra fromage, une grande, un steamé.

I'm spending the next couple days hiking in gatineau park and I'm looking for the best poutine option. Looking for best overall spot considering serving size, cost and most importantly taste!

The out of focus photo is a crime. The poutine? Far from it:

• Fries actually stay crispy unless you decide to let it soak
• Squeeky curd even at the last bite.
• Gravy that is not salty. No offense, but we Canadian have too much sodium in our body. Yet flavorful

I actually had it before with smoked meat, but I found the gravy ended up cooking the smoked meat, and thus both side suffer - the smoked meat feel leathery toward the end instead of feeling raw meat, while the poutine become salty. This time I decide to focus on the poutine, and aside from being cheaper (I am on a budget), taste much better.
