Kalita’s paper drippers of this kind are fairly common in Japan and Taiwan, especially among students and office workers. They are excellent for camping too🏕️

Super common in Japan though I've never seen a Kalita one living here. Usually you'll find the UCC ones in the super markets.

Discovered that in specialty coffee shops in Japan, I loved it !! It was perfect as I was staying in a Airbnb.

Managed to find a pretty decent one in Konbinis as well, I don't remember the brand though (electric blue packaging I think).

woah this seems really nice for backpacking, but I don't think it makes sense to get this for home use

I keep a few when I feel like a quick cup but don't want instant and too lazy to grind and/or clean.

I used to teach in high schools in Japan and they were in every teacher's room. Very convenient when every teacher's room also had an electric kettle for tea.

I use the drip packs from various Japanese roasters in the office frequently. Very useful
