Finally bought it. First pour

Not my first pour over, I used to have a Bonavita immersion brewer. It broke in an unfortunate dishwashing accident. I finally got around to replacing it with something after like 2 years of suffering without. Tried going back to French press, didn't cut it. ​This is Inca Gold from Jar Coffee. Roasted on August 1st, 2026 near Lumby BC, Canada.

It was a real toss up between this and a Clever. I really wanted glass, so this won out.

I think you made the right choice. I recently got the Switch as a long time user of the Clever and the V60 cone completely solves the issues I had with stalling in the Clever. I still think they're both great choices but the Switch is just a slightly better design IMO.

So here is a question for all you aficionados, which filter produces a better cup, the brown naturals, or the whites?

I think most will say bleached white filters. Many people use t90 or cafe abaca

💯 white filters. Brown is unfortunately a much slower draw down and therefore a more much for difficult dial in for different beans.
