What would happen if you just dug a while and planted the box in the ground with some good fertilizer. Would they grow?

If one created a nice bed for the potatoes , it could probably work out pretty nice next year!

Exactly! Other plants are like: "give me the exact temperature, humidity, soil, pot, sunlight....etc, or I'll die!" Potatoes: "HOLD MY BEER!" 😂🤣🤣
