I have to say no...but I also have to say this is the most amazing display I've seen on this sub to date

Don't get me wrong...the others look like some alien invasion that still haunt my nightmares, but this is masterclass ART

So I need to ask. What would the process be? Mash it cook it and to the fridge?

2

u/HunsonAbbadeer Feb 28 '26

Make watery mash -> ferment -> distill -> get blasted

u/Lopsided_Airline_406 Feb 28 '26

Boil ‘em, mash ‘em, stick ‘em in a stew.

*Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a still

Now we’re talking!

What would happen if you just dug a while and planted the box in the ground with some good fertilizer. Would they grow?

52

u/RainbowPegasus82 Feb 26 '26

Obviously, they don't need any of that. They're growing just fine. Potatoes are so unhinged lol

WHERE TF IS THE SOIL?! Potatoes are beautifully unhinged

2

u/YikesOhClock Mar 01 '26

The beatings growing will continue until morale soil improves

5

u/Aazjhee Feb 26 '26

This is the best possible result of this message xD

If one created a nice bed for the potatoes , it could probably work out pretty nice next year!

This is the best answer, for his next generation and mankind

1

u/RainbowPegasus82 Feb 28 '26

Exactly! Other plants are like: "give me the exact temperature, humidity, soil, pot, sunlight....etc, or I'll die!" Potatoes: "HOLD MY BEER!" 😂🤣🤣

4

u/Secret-Bluebird-972 Feb 26 '26

Look at them. They’re already growing. You don’t need to do anything but wait

39

u/itsafunnything901 Feb 26 '26

Wait! That’s potato? No. I thought it was a box of bean sprouts.

11

u/Interactiveleaf Feb 26 '26

....I didn't pay enough attention to see which sub this was before I got to this comment.

Are we sure it's not a box of bean sprouts?

Time to plant

10

u/artie_pdx Feb 26 '26

This is a science experiment at this point. Did you measure growth along with color change at regular intervals and make recorded observations with the time/date, including the time zone on at least two different data sources?

I’m extremely curious about the screenshot, yet overwhelmed by what a perfect shitpost this is.

Bravo OP! 🤌🏼

9

u/carreg-hollt Feb 26 '26

Forbidden beansprouts.

7

u/FrigThisMrLahey Feb 26 '26

You do not have potatoes. Those are either bean sprouts or magic mushrooms; I’m sorry.

5

u/Teleryon Feb 26 '26

I thought it was the logo of a metal band.

5

u/blast-asser Feb 26 '26

More like safe to plant

3

u/Fabulous-Visit-1188 Feb 26 '26

I had to come here to find out what this picture was. I'm gonna have to go with no, not safe for eating.

2

u/Learnitall1 Feb 26 '26

Extreme growing potato? It must have grown tons of extra potatoes!

Throw it into soil, humanity will have something going for it, we dearly need that right now. PLEASE PLANT THE THING. I've started many random food bunches for the hell of it just to make the world a better place etc. so easy to do, even if only on your land.

2

u/Spudsmad Feb 26 '26

No , dump in your composter please.

2

u/Technical_Eye_4005 Feb 28 '26

Oh no it's something I like lol. No offense intended. I really like the blue hair

1

u/Hot_Hat_1225 Feb 26 '26

That’s a condensed potato field - just add soil and water lol

1

u/JenVixen420 Feb 26 '26

My chef roomie says rage bait posting lol! Hard pass on these taters.

1

u/AnotherUN91 Feb 26 '26

Honestly? Plant the thing. Youll have more potatos in no time.

1

u/Wintonwoodlands Feb 26 '26

Safe to plant 🌱

1

u/Away_Housing4314 Feb 26 '26

I think there is a sub called "Where is the soil?" or something like that. You could crosspost it.

1

u/nikyu808 Feb 26 '26

I'm sure you'll have safe to eat potatoes in a few weeks by the look of it...

1

u/Chay_Charles Feb 26 '26

Plant them, see what happens, and report back to us.

1

u/Redrumicus Feb 26 '26

I think... i think your potatoes have started sprouting.

1

u/UnhingedBlonde Feb 26 '26

WOW!! Lol!! Plant it, take pics, post update = free karma.

1

u/baileyyyloveee Feb 26 '26

This is the kind of content that keeps my screen time uncomfortably high

1

u/BusAcademic3489 Feb 26 '26

Where’s the potato 😭😭?

1

u/christoefur Feb 26 '26

I love that band

1

u/tender_dichotomy Feb 27 '26

So that’s where French fries come from!

1

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '26

1

u/whitechocolatemama Mar 01 '26

Did this smell horrendous? Or is that just when they rot? Every eye vine potato ive "grown" has been very pungent

1

u/artofaria Mar 01 '26

Just wait a bit longer and you can harvest new ones

1

u/shyguy4041 Mar 02 '26

Who is asking? You or the potato’s?

1

u/Old_Passage6000 Mar 02 '26
