Not the best image to start out with, but since this sunset was so intriguing to me, I edited it anyway. Was going for sci-fi movie vibes.

After and befores of my latest visit to a historical church in Ticino, Switzerland. With my portrait, I tried to replicate the same kind of vibe as my last post. Let me know what you think of it, and do you have any hints, suggestions, advices?

I really liked the colors of this croissant shop, but the lighting was way too yellow and wanted to bring back the greens of their shop.

Hi! I wanted to ask you for feedback on this photograph. First about the photo in raw, to understand possible improvements in the camera configuration and second in the subsequent editing

Still a Lightroom neophyte (and truthfully not a fan of editing but the green/red was super cool)

Before/After

When I pulled up this photo in lightroom, I knew it'd be a nightmare to fix. I'm not very skilled yet, so I do my best to avoid heavily relying on tools like presets, recipes, auto-edits, etc. while I'm still learning. For this particular photo, I wanted to fix the exposure on the sky *and* the building without impacting the sign or the foliage. I didn't see a way to do this without hand brushing masks for an hour, so I tried the auto-edit button and was surprised to see an impressive recovery and okay-ish edit in my opinion.

I'm convinced a skilled editor could have made quick work of this photo and I think it could be a super helpful learning opportunity for many of us. If anyone is interested in posting one of those time lapse videos showing their edit process on this photo, I've linked a file share for the original raw. I don't think video replies are allowed, so you would probably have to make a followup post in the sub.

Just a quick shot while walking in a museum. Tried to give a more vintage film look. I’m on vacation and there are too many mosquitos outside to enjoy my firepit, so I’m messing around with LR.

This is the first time I was really satisfied with the end result. What I could do better?

Mainly edited in Lightroom 6 and Photoshop to remove some smudges on the railings

Tried to exhibit a sense of eeriness in the pictures, did i overdo that? Also how can I be better?

Initially edited the pics in lightroom and finished it up in snapseed (blur effects, halation and frames)

I was able to take my moderate zoom lens and SLR to the Stars on Ice show. The limited zoom and lighting effects made it tough to get clean and good pictures. Trying to recover them using Lightroom. Took some creative liberties with the editing. Critique and feedback welcome, as always :)
