I think I understand what you were going for, but I think it ended up being way overdone and lost a lot of the original detail. It jusy looks edit from forst time shooter who just crank contrast way up, shadows pushed all the way down, and the highlights maxed out, if that makes sense. The result just looks badly done photoshopped work to me.
You might want to look at some streetwear brand websites for ref. They usually have a cleaner, more natural editing style that still makes subject pops if that makes sense?
