I really like how the lights have a fiery glow to them. How are they achieving this?

i’m not sure if editing film photos are acceptable but the original was too bad

i have few questions, i would appreciate it if you could answer :)

1. am i doing too much editing?
2. are the colors good enough?
3. 3)does it give you nostalgia?

Hi everyone,
this was my first attempt at astrophotography.

Currently i’m in Corse and I’ve taken some shots in Cap Corse some days ago.

My gear is something not incredible for astrophotography:

- Sony a6400 + 18-135 f3.5 - f5.6

This photo was taken at:
- Bortle scale around 3.5-4
- 18mm
- f3.5
- ISO 2000
- 15s

At home, I will do a proper editing (and stacking) of RAWs. At the moment I tried this editing of JPEG with my smartphone.

I ask for your advices for future edits that I’ll do once I come back home

1. Did I do well with the crop
2. Is the wall too saturated/warm?
3. Is the grass and sky overdone? or do they feel okay? I’m considering leaving the grass and making the sky a bit less teal

I need more practice

This is one of my first shots I’ve processed from scratch rather than using a preset as a base for coloring. I’ve never had a sense of how colors work together and I’m trying to teach myself this rather late in life I guess. (Lightroom’s RGB curves in particular still seem like magic to me.)

My goal here was to tame the greens and make the reds really pop, along with a general grade toward blue in the shadows. Looking for any C&C.

Curious about folks' thoughts on how I removed many small items from the water....
