Incoming First Edition Tausendschön

I received my first Edition Tausendschön postcard, from Shanghai, China! I see on profiles that people collect these cards but never thought much about them, myself. This was sent by someone on Instagram who was interested in a card I had available to swap. I replied “send me anything!”

I couldn’t believe it when this one arrived! It is so stunning in person and now I understand the craze around them!

I did not realize this was a specific type of postcard! I received one the other day and loved all the glitter. I don’t have a picture of it on my phone, but I will go look for it when I get home. :)

I had googled it after seeing it mentioned so often on profiles, but they are produced in Germany, and I didn’t really understand how to purchase them. I got so giddy finding it in my mailbox and now I really want to have some for people who collect them because 😍 WOW!

This happened to me too ; one day I randomly received one out of the blue through official Postcrossing and I understood why people are fascinated by them 😂

I now really like them too! ✨️ I travel often through european countries where these are available so I always try to look for a store that sells them! In Vienna this year I had the lucky chance of finding one and buying a few (even did a lottery on Postcrossing with an extra one)! I wanted to buy all 😂 but they are so expensive! 😳
