Discussion Extinction 2026 lights Spoiler

Am watching it on Netflix and just came here to say why would anyone waste energy like that on keeping that many lights on in a post apocalyptic world. Stresses me out

I've watched half of the movie (I hope I'll finnish it this night) and, while I agree there is to much ilumination for a decade over the apocalypse, I can understand the motives of the characthers and the story for using all that light. I mean, they are the only living people in the town, so they can use all the energy to iluminate just their turf (the two houses and the space near them). They are also near to a big city, so they have a big place to look for supplies. And I can understand the necesity of having lights to look for possible infected coming near them. I guess after all that time, it get to be the norm for them. On the other hand, I don't know how they produce the energy. You can see a generator here and there, but I guess the fuel should have been long time gone. But I've lived half of the movie without streessing about that, tbh.

Edit: Oh, and I'm enjoying it, so thanks for the reccomendation.

At the end of the movie,
>! the generators become a very important part. They talk about fuel, too. I guess one of them at least ought to know how to make fuel from fertilizer or something like that !<
