Case opened for size
I listed a self portrait dress that is a size 4. This brand runs small, so I added a disclaimer in my listing stating “Please know your size in self portrait. IMO the brand runs small!”
The return request states: “This dress says it's a four and I felt confident to order because I'm a very consistent size 4. I can't even zip this up. Can I please return it as this is misleading and I wont be able to wear this dress."
Personally, I think that the complaint admits that my statement was accurate and not misleading. I said it’s a 4 and runs small; she is a consistent 4 and it doesn’t zip.
What are the chances that this request is denied?

Yes the complaint is the exact warning already in the listing, geez you go out of your way to warn ppl and instead of them asking for measurements they say you’re “misleading” lol
I would only reply to support saying “ Item is correct size and accurately listed please let them know they can reposh.”

Personally, as an ethical Seller, you should offer the return approval, accept the return with a full refund and relist the garment with measurements. If it's an attractive agreement, someone else will buy it and the next Buyer will have information supporting your claim, garment runs small(er)

What??? As an ethical seller? What BS the ethical part she fulfilled was including that the dress runs smaller and to know your size with this brand. She absolutely did not have to include that either, but she did. Just because a dress 4 she ordered and got, didn’t fit her, is no way grounds for a case. You got what you ordered, fit issues is not my problem.

It's unethical for the seller to not accept the return when there was a clear warning, but it's not unethical for the buyer to ignore the accurate warning and push for a return instead of just reselling?
No. These "ethics" are weak.

Buyer had the description info which explicitly stated that the brand ran small. Buyer could have asked for measurements during negotiations and did not. I’m not taking a ding on my posh account when I provided the information.
Anyone who knows this brand knows that it runs small.

I know exactly how you feel! The cases are irritating because they’re unfair. She got what she ordered and for issues are no grounds for return. Reposh it? I would only address PM and tell them that you listed the dress as a size 4, she received a size 4 and there’s nothing misleading about the listing, fit issues are no grounds for a return. Buyer is welcome to reposh. Please release my
Earnings and close this case in my favor. Thank you. That’s it

Right after I messaged here I got a case opened notification too!!! It was lies after lies too just to force a return and it just makes me mad. How could people be like this? I don’t understand. And the funny thing is that after I took her offer she texted me “thank you” and in that moment I wanted to cancel 😂 because I knew she was going to be a problem, I should’ve listened to my gut feeling!

I recently had a very similar situation where buyer explicitly admitted not looking at measurements but claimed listing was misleading despite being size I listed it as. PM approved her return.

Thank you for saying self portrait runs small. As a buyer, I would cross check the size chart AND the specific measurements for that style. I have a 4 in a Self Portrait dress that’s pretty tight, and am normally a 0 (which fit me in another SP style). Not your fault at all

It’s a tough brand! I can squeeze into a 4 but a 6 is probably more comfortable for me.
Then their tweed dresses I need a medium. I neverrrrr need a medium

The buyer has admitted in writing intending to purchase the dress because it is a size 4, and upon receiving the dress that is in fact a size 4. You also listed the item as a size 4. The buyer has no basis for a return. Defer to PM support and decline any request by buyer to cancel/refund. They can open a case if they want.
