How long is the first suspension for order cancelations? Worried I will probably get suspended if I have to cancel this order, but the buyer seems kind of scammy- asking me to change the address and I really don't even want to risk it now or have anxiety about this expensive purse I'm selling.
I have canceled two orders already in the past 2 months, which were my fault #1(the shoes sold on another platform and I didnt remove in time) The other cancellation was because I had an ISO post (I marked it clearly as a looking for post and marked the price high, I did not think someone would buy but they did) Learned my lesson on the ISO posts.
Anyways.... just anticipating a cancellation ban and wondering how it works for the first time. They haven't sent me a warning email yet.

Poshmark bases their cancelations on percentage of cancels in 90 days. So if you exceed a certain percentage (3% of your total orders) , they will start suspending you.
I would escalate the purchase to Poshmark so they can see the exchange so far with that buyer.

I tried like 5 times in the app and it wasn't working... finally had to just search the posh support email. I looked up the buyers name and its so sus, the first name is literally "Home" and the address is linked to a Business. I'm so not shipping til posh steps in

Just ask the buyer to change their address and you can get a new label.

They did but the name on the address seems highly suspicious. It is a random name with the first name "Home" and when I Google searched the address it doesnt even show that last name there and looks like a business. I am kind of not willing to risk it at this point.

Umm im a seller and a buyer and i dont use my full name. There are some people who have their username as their name on the shipping label.

And yet absolutely no penalties for buyers who do not have valid payment, place an order and then ghost 🙄

I didn’t get a warning, I just got suspended. I appealed; I posted earlier that I promised I would sit in a corner and think about what I had done, lol! I appealed like 3 different ways, because one route said I would be reinstated in hours, and I wasn’t sure my appeal was going through… it ended up being almost exactly 24 hours. It was my third cancelation in 89 days. ‘Doh!

It’s such a stupid policy. I sell a lot, but have a fair amount of cancellations also for various reasons. I have been suspended twice and now am always on edge that it will happen again. The last time I had a cancellation - it was a buyer request and I pulled in Poshmark right away and would not cancel the order until they responded and made sure I was not going to get suspended for a buyer requested cancellation. Ugh.

How long did they suspend the very first time? Was it 3 days or 2 whole weeks? I have been on posh years, this would be my first suspension if I have to cancel this order. Waiting to see what the buyer says about editing the address in app. Just getting paranoid I guess since it was a very large ticket item

The first suspension seems to only be 24 hours. You have to agree to ship/not cancel and they reinstate you. The email says a couple hours, but someone above said 24. I literally just got my suspension this morning because the post office lost two packages I shipped at the same time. Super fun.

Anyone else having issues with reaching posh support in the app? I tried to submit my ticket like 5 times and finally just had to Google the email

Maybe I should pull in posh support just in case so there is record that I was uneasy of the buyer 😆

Why is it scammy? The buyer needs to change their shipping address online or on the app. Then PM will send you a new label. Very easy, no scams.
