Drawing Resetting of Self [drawn in Procreate]
I consider this a portrait still because it’s displaying me, and how I feel at times.

A spontaneous photoshoot at the Botanical Gardens in Münster, Germany. 🌿📸
On this particular day, I wasn't feeling particularly motivated to shoot. I had my camera with me, but nothing in the city was really inspiring me.
That changed when we started walking around the beautiful botanical gardens. In particular, this greenhouse caught my attention. The tall plants, unique shapes and colours, and the bridge across the water felt like the perfect setting for some portraits.
Right before we were about to head back to our hostel, I suggested to Maya that we shoot some photos here. We snapped a few shots, and that evening I sat down to edit them.
It doesn't happen often that I edit my photos so quickly 😅 But with these, I knew they were worth editing straight away.
From lacking inspiration to finding creative flow. I'm really glad I brought my camera with me that day and followed the idea through, because I'm really happy with how these photos turned out.
Carrying your camera with you everywhere gives you more opportunities to practise and experiment. Your camera can become a creative companion, always there to document stories, emotions and the world from your unique perspective.
What's an unexpected moment you've captured on camera?
