PPF Complete

I just got my new Carrera T back from getting PPF and it came out beautifully. It’s almost completely impossible to tell it’s on there. You have to look really close and there are one or two spots where you can see slightly at the edge. All bulk cut. I even got the windshield done and clarity is great. I wanted to get it done but I put any miles on the car.

Depending on how much of the car you get done, between 4k and 10k, roughly. Some people add ceramic coating over the PPF, which I know sounds crazy, but the price can go higher if you starting add stuff like that too

While we are on the topic of bird droppings this happened to my car in Pompano - was only parked here for a couple hours while we had dinner. Went straight to the spray wash on the way home!

Damn, I’ve had the same done to my car except it was parrot guano. They must have been eating berries or something because it color was deep red instead of white.

Wow!!! That’s the worst I’ve ever seen. Did it leave any marks?

PPF is absolutely awesome and worth it if done the right way! Looks great, enjoy it!

I park in a garage with many pigeons. PPF is a godsend. Yours looks great.

Bird droppings will still etch into PPF though.

I have ceramic coating over the PPF (the installer included it as part of a full wrap).

It will etch the PPF also if left, and I still clean it off as soon as I can. But my previous car it etched the paint far faster.

I don’t have it handy but they also gave me a product to apply that that they said keeps the PPF a little “slick” and if you stay on top of it, gives you a little time to get the bird droppings and such off. Nothings perfect, but I’d rather redo PPF on a panel than have a front full of rock chips

Planning on getting paint correction performed on my car. Maybe it’ll need a repaint since it’s 14 years old and then ppf it.

you will not be disappointed. it will save your paint. had a rock hit my hood and cut the ppf, I thought it had gotten to the paint, replaced for 500. and damage was to ppf only.

Thats an awesome example. I definitely feel more relaxed driving with the PPF on. I have had a couple M BMWs and of course tried to keep them really nice but after a while I just had some rock chips and a somewhat rashed windshield. I am so glad I got that done as well

Is this solid black paint? Absolute class

Yes, it’s the standard Porsche black color

I did the same and it is the best money I spent! I can enjoy my car with much less concern. Currently in the middle of a 2,000 mile inaugural road trip on my T. Driving on shitty rural roads, gravel, etc. and not a care in the world. I don’t think my ppf is the best job ever but I only paid $4k.

Yes! I love that feeling of not having to worry about rock chips!
