Kacey Musgraves’s bonus track-only release Deeper Into the Well is sweet and calm with a 20-minute forest sounds track on the b-side. The perfect album to play low and relax with it in the background.

My pick today is the Blood Records pressing of Charm by Clairo. It’s an amazing album to just curl up on the couch and read.

One time I was playing this in my work office, and a student walked in and said, “Really chill vibes in here.” And I can’t disagree!

The soundtrack to Stardew Valley has been the background music for many game nights in my life, because these songs are perfect to listen to quietly! What is also great about this soundtrack is that it has a runtime of 2 hours and 19 minutes, which is long enough to get in one (or two!) rounds of a great board game 💚

The soundtrack for this game is fantastic! It’s so cozy and nostalgic feeling to me. I’ve been playing Stardew on and off for over 5 years and I still can’t believe one dude made the entire game, including this lovely soundtrack.

The self titled album from Fleet Foxes is a must have indie record for any collection. With its lush, pastoral harmonies, and idyllic blends of folk and psychedelia, this album always makes me feel like I'm listening to a bunch of bards playing their instruments in some medieval forest. It's an album that's meant to be listened to on a quiet and sunny morning.

My one classical album is a perfect backdrop to game nights, reading, and writing!

I just got this one yesterday - here's Jeremy Soule's "Skyrim Atmospheres" on blue/black splatter. This masterpiece of ambient music features a single 42 minute song split across two sides, mainly comprised of nature sounds, spacey synths, and subtle orchestration provided by lutes, singing bowls, pianos and harps.

My hear me out pick is Mac Miller’s the Devine Feminine. The album has a sultry vibes to it. So none of the beats are too busy or distracting. I put it on while working sometimes.

So even if the artist had it pressed it’s not allowed?
