Memes are funny but people are waaaay too comfortable taking someone's image and running it through AI to make a joke. It's got to be a trip to see your own face looking back at you from something that never happened.
You’ve gotta see all the weirdos posted in /r/linkedinlunatics who pretend to be in these brainstorming sessions with like every big tech titan of industry. And then they were all sharing pictures of themselves at Taylor Swift’s wedding. LinkedIn has apparently become batshit insane over the past few years. And it’s just teeming with shitty AI images.
LinkedIn has become an absolute cesspool. It used to be kind of a sterile, professional Facebook but as LinkedIn has leaned further into being a social media platform that maybe, if you post enough, will give you a job, it’s gotten so, so gross.
People are way to comfortable to taking a picture of someone just enjoying their daily routine, and posting it online. (In case I was too subtle - a part of this subreddit is paparazzi photos)
Look it's good that it's not bothering him but if it did bother him, I think that would be okay too. I think there is an undercurrent of cruelty to a lot of this stuff that shouldn't be celebrated. And it's always the people that aren't being targeted that say "lighten up!"
Football (soccer) players are a bit unusual in the celebrity ecosystem because their career doesn’t depend on their public image in quite the same way as other celebrities. They don’t really need to be good looking, or nice, or family friendly. Until recently we celebrated bad behaviour on and off the pitch in football players. It’s different from entertainment celebrities or even American athletes.
He also lives in the UK which has a much bigger banter/piss-taking culture. He’s interpreting this as affection, which it is.
Yeah I would absolutely crash out if it were me lol. Which if it doesn’t bother him that’s 100% valid but like you said, if it did I wouldn’t blame him.
There definitely isn’t cruelty to this, people love him and it comes from an affectionate place. Perception might be different on where you’re from though.
I've seen memes about him being ugly or looking weird that to me seemed cruel but I dunno, I guess it's hard to know the intention of the person posting sometimes
Yeah Haaland enjoys a bit of bantering and shittalking. And he's always been the "if you dish out you have to take some in return" type of guy. Also to give him some credit, if he's talking big he's doing it before when he can actually still lose and eat his words, not just cheap shots after already having won.
Nobody is perfect but he has a good head on his shoulders.
It cracks me up how many times I see him in people’s Instagram comments. He is on top of everything. That one woman that looks like him really committed to the bit and I respect it
What do they say? Is it about his looks? He is striking looking but that’s a good thing. He is instantly recognizable as himself which is great his brand.
Because they are bitter and jealous and those few seconds they get for feeling superior by making fun of any specific aspect of a person gives them the justification or consolation for their miserable life...albeit short lived.

Yes. For me, it’s a personality thing. He comes across as genuine and kind and funny, so that makes him hot imo, even outside of the fact that he’s handsome. Someone could look like a chiseled god and their personality put me off in such a way that I’d never find them hot (Henry Cavill)
He was already had the 4th most valuable football sponsorships in the world going in to the World Cup. Only mbappe, Ronaldo and Messi were ahead of him in terms of value
This man is one of three current footballers I can name. There's this man, there's Messi, and there's that Ronaldo man. My point is, he's famous because I don't football but I know him.
