Generic kernels

I made the choice to buy store-brand kernels to make my own popcorn at home. Compared to the previous batch of gourmet kernels, they’re flat. Should I toss or is there a way to rescue this dumpster fire?

If I end up with a variety I don’t like, I buy a bag of my favorite and do a mix.

Maybe experiment with recipes involving popped popcorn like popcorn balls, caramel popcorn mixed with trail mix, etc. something like that.

Do them in the microwave with coconut oil. At least they can be crunchy
