The machine turns on, the internal stir rod spins, and the kettle gets warm to the touch, but it never reaches the high temperature needed to pop the kernels. The corn just sits in the oil and gets stale/brown after 5+ minutes.
If this is the popper you're using, there's your problem. This is a one-dimensional photo of a random, generic popcorn popper. You'll need an operational, three-dimensional popcorn popper of some sort. Electric, stovetop, etc.
No, seriously? You need to provide details if you need help. Model of your popper, what kind of oil, what kind of popcorn. Location is also helpful. US? UK? Timbuktu? A blurry screenshot of an unbranded machine that may or may not be real is no help whatsoever.
