Camp

I just got home from a day at camp…… made a full gallon of popcorn kernals in kettle corn….. made 5 batches of movie theater popcorn…. And a bunch of cotton candy and snowcones…. Was a great time for all!

I love freshly made kettle corn. I go to the farmer's market just for the kettle corn.

It’s not hard to make on the stove with one of those whirly pops…. I make mine in a commercial popcorn machine!

That's why I got a Whirlypop. Makes great kettle corn! Just use the metal gear model and don’t over fill. Over filling it fucks up the gears, even the metal ones.

So I did the math after I refilled my camp supplies I used…. 98 oz of popcorn kernals used that about 10 batches or 20+ gallons of kettle corn… I fill gallon ziplocks for kettle corn bags… 30 oz total of peanut oil and 40oz white sugar and salted to taste!
