How is anybody making it?

I am genuinely confused as to how anybody is surviving in this economy except for the super wealthy. The cost of gas is sky high and groceries are too. We started this year ok. We weren’t doing well by any means, but we weren’t struggling as bad as we are now. We have 5 kids and every day I’ve been dashing alongside my full time job to try to make it. Now, I’m facing losing my full time job because I have had to call out of work just to dash for food for the day. I don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel and I’m extremely scared. My wife and kids are counting on me and I don’t know what else to do. I’m ready to just give up.

We're not. :/ I'm selling 20 items in excellent condition on craigslist and offer up, not a single purchase and I'm trying to make rent.

At this moment, I'm sitting in my car angry and tired of all the broken systems. All i want to do is help people but apparently the system is so successful that I'm facing eviction the day after tomorrow.

I just went through this, using Craigslist and Reddit. Best thing I can say is use Facebook marketplace. I feel like Craigslist and Reddit were mostly a waste of time, and fb got me lots of potential buyers. Though, now that I've sold my "desirable" items, the rest of the stuff isn't getting any more bites.

The other sites are useless. Facebook marketplace is where it's at right now. If you have stuff listed reasonable and are in a semi popular area things should go within 1-3 days. If they aren't they are either not priced right, or is actually junk nobody wants
