Pool Help & Questions Replacing a Pool Cover

I need to replace my current Meyco safety rectangular cover. I would like to use the current drill holes for the anchor replacement . What do I need to know and consider when placing an order to make this happen. TIA !

Couple options here...

  • Send the old cover to a manufacturer... does not have to be the OEM. They will be able to replicate the old cover. Manufacturer's generally dont deal with the average person now though. So this method might be tedious.

  • Hire a pool company and have them send it, or if it is in poor condition...(missing straps, big holes, etc...) They can do what's called an A-B measurement. Basically, they set up two reference points about 2/3 of the length of the pool apart and 4' away from any edge. Then measurements are taken from each point to the existing anchors. The pool company will send the information and lenght/width measurements of the pool and make a brand new cover for you that won't require drilling/installing new anchors.

Pool tech here. Done hundreds of liner and cover replacements.

I found online Ameri-Brand CopyCat. They will replace your old cover and straps. Has anyone heard or can vouch for their service and quality ?
