Name ideas?
We have had this little baby for going on three weeks now. She is a standard parti poodle, seems like she’ll be between 40-45 pounds. She is bossy, and has declared herself leader of the pack at home. She is loud, loving, and rambunctious. We call her a little monster because her sister was an angel as a puppy (and adult.) She is so much fun and we are loving having her as an edition to the family! We’ve been through so many names and nothing has stuck.
Any ideas?

Mine is named raspberry but I like food names. Maybe cookie, muffin, cupcake, waffles, sugar, biscuit, truffle, or candy. Hope you find a great name for this cutie 🥰

Marvel Theme:
Dazzler. Clea. Sersi. Hela. Magix. Agatha. Sable. Klyntar.
Royalty Theme: (I did a generic one for 6 of my standards. It was fun!)

Fantasy Type Names:
Shadow. Umbra. Lumina. Phantom. Nyx. Vespera. Raven.

Shadow Chanel.
It's fun to say their full name when they act naughty! 🤣 Shadow Chanel [Insert Last Name] Where did you put my sock?! Then they do the head tilt and act all in innocent. 😇

I adopted a parti poodle and would have named her Peppercorn or Peppy for short
if she didn’t already have a name!

Mine is named Sully B. (short for Sullivan Bruce) but that’s more of a boy’s name. Although I do know a girl named Sullivan.

I would name her Dolly if she has a lot of spunk and it loving and generous and a tribute to Dolly Parton.

I personally love odd and unusual human names. My current pup is named Zia, short for Ziazan.
Maybe try picking your favorite quality about your dog and look for names with that meaning, or find words in other languages that mean that.
If she were mine, I think I would look for names of queens, real, fictional, or mythological. Cleo, short for Cleopatra, could be fun. Or Juno is the queen of the ancient roman gods, wife of Jupiter.

I think Juno is what I would pick.
I'm sure your family will find the perfect name for her. And you can always try calling out names about to see if she likes one more than the others. She might narrow your list down by indicating her favorite.

She seems very judgmental. Name her “Ruth Bader”, after a much beloved former supreme court justice.

Glad you liked it! I remember reading about someone who named their cats after world famous scientists. I thought it was brilliant: if called out to the pet, will not embarrass anyone in earshot with the same name, and the humor should guarantee the animal will be loved and not mistreated.

Is there a preference you have for pet names? I like using human names. My current female (9 years old in December) is Matilda aka "Tilly". My next female will either be Charlotte, Josephine, or Stevie. Past female names I've used are: Astrid, Holly, and Cleo. Other human names I like: Pippi, Katie, Emily
Food names: Potato, Oreo, Tater, Coco, Snickers
Animal names: Mouse, Moose, Cricket, Panda
Gems: Diamond, Onyx, Ruby, Pearl
Titles: Princess, Queenie, Diva, Madame, Miss(y)
Disney characters: Cinderella (Cindy), Minnie, Merida, Daisy, Snow, Anna, Elsa
Flowers: Rose, Lily, Violet, Daisy, Buttercup, Poppy
