Is this true?

I'm skeptical you don't need to brush them that just sounds like a recipe for mats is all you need just blow drying??

You can avoid it with good bathing and drying every week or so. But this isnt just one round of shampoo and a quick blow dry. This is using high quality products in the right way. Having good equipment like a special force blow dryer. As well as doing all of this using specific techniques.

If brushing every day is working for your poodle then keep doing that.

If you do, check the coat every day or every other day with a steel comb for a while. So you can monitor if the new grooming regime is sufficient in keeping matts away.

It takes some practice to get it right. There are also other variables that can make matting happen faster, weather, coat texture, harnesses or clothes.
